I'm trying to find a cheap LEP flashlight for work, just so I have a convenient way to "point" at stuff out of reach and also have something to light up small areas. My only concern is, how long lasting this thing would be. I've bought a few normal 2000 - 3000 lumens flashlights for work, and they just stop working after a year or two, and I think that's unacceptable for a $ 50 - 100 flashlight. I guess these fancy flashlights have a tad too much electronics inside that break easily, from bumps and dust.
- I only have a couple LEP lights and both were got in the past year so I can’t speak on durability or longevity. This Trustfire does appear to be using quality components
These are pretty useful if some ahole pulls up at night with tinted windows and his brights on and you wanna make sure who's inside and that they're not a threat. These LEPs shine right through that tinting like it's not even there. I think the look on their face is the funniest part.
- I’ve never had anything from Natfire so I can’t say. Personally, I don’t use the LEP’s much. They are cool to show off to friends but just not practical for my uses

Can any of you use this torch tell me if in high mode the power drops immediately after a few moments to switch to medium power?
- The output drops pretty fast. Probably about a minute or so then maintains that output for 2-3 hours. It is similar to the medium output
