Hi Nathan, as usual outstanding work. Just a little tip for when you need to match gaps, plastic playing cards work a treat as you can use or remove as many as you like for the perfect gap. Hope this helps ah yeh

I am always amazed when I see you doing bodywork and painting so confidently. My knowledge runs out on changing doors, body panels (hood, or bonnet), fenders, bumpers, etc. On the other hand your head unit looks like a VW RCD 330 from afar which is actually a genuine VW product (could be a clone as there are some clones around), but as it boots up it looks like an RCD330 unit (or similar). These come from chinese market VWs where owners immediately replace these units with android head units as that is their preference for some reason and they find their way back to the UK and the EU where we like to retrofit these in older PQ chassis VWs (as these are compatible with PQ platform and offer a look and functionality of a similar looking MQB platform car infotainment). I worked for 17 years for a company that formulated colorants for plastics (basically the methods are the same, you calculate the amount of pigments and put them into some carrying material and process it to a final product, I even know how to do it with liquid colorants for plastics). Some colors do age before they get to the final color under the UV and the sun, so you might not need to touch anything just let it mature for a while, the difference just could disappear after a while. I had a colormatch once with a guy from the UK (funnily) which proved to be extremely difficult, it was a dark blue for Gilette for their disposable razors. That color used such pigments they matured after we made the actual sample 5 to 7 Delta Es over night and gave us such headaches you cannot imagine.
The quality is spot on ,I don’t think you realise that you mention the small detail when describing your work ,for anyone who repairing replacing a vw part - your sound geezer , keep the videos coming

Over the years sometimes I found a job seems to be slipping away and getting me down tbh. Not always easy? But I've found no matter how small a job. Try and finish on a positive. Hi , I have a pair of Mk3 facelift headlights you can have for free for Andy’s zero budget restoration (if he decided to face lift it ) the drivers side has a broken bracket but perfectly useable… left me know and we can arrange delivery ect … loving the content mate , as a fellow caddy owner you have given me loads of motivation to continue upgrading mine , keep up the good work
