This plan is great advice. I have not been to an amusement park in decades and it was my family's 1st trip. We followed the 1st plan and what he went over, even down to the restaurant recommended, and we hardly had anything over a 5 minute wait all day. We even got a chance to meet James (think I called him Jake though) and he was able to help guide us in the right direction for Iron Rattlers flash pass entrance we were looking for as it was closed until late in the day.

Watched your video this morning before I headed to the park and with your tips I rode iron rattler, the Joker, superman, and wonder women within the first two hours of being in the park. I was also able to ride Poltergeist pandemonium boomerang Daredevil Roadrunner Goliath and the Joker an other time all in one day! With all those rides I also had time for lunch around 3pm and shopping towards the end of the night. Thanks man really appreciate the help!!
This is really sound advice in any park you go to. Pick the newest or the best ride towards the back of the park(all the best and newest rides seem to end up in the back of most parks it seems) to ride first. When I went to Universal in Orlando we road Velocicoaster first even though it was towards the back of the park. As a result we walked on to the second train that went through the station even though we waited for front row seats. Now it's important to be flexible just like in the video. Again when I was in Universal we had intended to ride Hagrid's first but everybody else seemed to have that idea too so when we saw the line it was an easy jump over to Velocicoaster and by the time we rode that and Forbidden Journey the line to Hagrid's had thinned out quite a bit. Another thing that's important to know is that people tend to walk a park clockwise. So sometimes it's a good idea to go against that trend and go around the park in a counterclockwise motion. At Busch Gardens Williamsburg it can be a very short ride on Apollo's Chariot early in the day for no other reason than that it is on the left side footpaths as you walk in. So while everybody went right to ride Griffon or Invadr you work your way against the crowd and as he said those early crowds can thin out for rides on the right side of the park later in the day. Almost every amusement park is set up on a circular hub and can be approached the same way as Six Flags Fiesta Texas is in this video. He's right about maps too. If you've never been to a park a map can be very handy!
Roadrunner was my first coaster wayyy back in the day. The theming used to be awesome on that ride. There were animatronic scenes of coyote and roadrunner throughout the run but now only the fake rock features stand

i went on labor day weekend in literal 100 degree weather and i only got through 4 roller coasters and the log flume bc every ride was slammed and i have a medical problem where i cant sweat enough so if im somewhere too hot for too long in a given day it can fuck me up so i just left after 7 or so hours bc i felt like i was literally boiling
Is next week worth driving from Austin? It’s the last week of July so I’m afraid lines are going to be even longer then they are in normal summer weekdays. I’m trying to ride as many things as possible.
You have to add the dining plan. I talk about it later in the video. It’s about $6 extra per month and you get two meals and a snack every time u visit. So not “free” but pretty close. Ur getting two $14 meals and one $5 snack for just $6 per montj
Nope! The park is only open on Saturday and Sundays at the moment but Sundays are a great option. 7 day operations start may 19th, and after that Mondays and Tuesdays are the best days to go

If it’s insanely busy we sometimes close it so we can have time to do our closing procedures/maintenance. But 90% of the time the line is open until you hear “ladies and gentlemen, I said ladies and gentlemen, may I have you attention please…”
Those seats are locked out by maintenance it’s an easy way for them to temporarily close off non functional seats without having to take the whole train off

Roadrunners getting old. I rode it a month ago, and it kept jerking hard on the incline. I had to brace myself ironically on the slowest moments.

Normally weekdays aren’t that crowded I would suggest going. Also... I live in Austin too I would say it’s worth the drive!
