We understand that Murphy was questioned by elite gardai from the National Bureau of Criminal Investigation on Tuesday.
Sources say the arrest and questioning were part of a major probe into his suspected connections to Gerry Hutch, which makes it more likely for Hutch to be hit with another serious charge in a matter of months.

This country needs a root and branch clean out. All office's of the government need to be audit and looked at for white-collar crime and connection's to any criminal or organisation's involved in crime of any kind. Start at the top and work down. This country is ripe to be explioted, we are riding high with investment and money is flowing into the country. So the criminal's are flooding in to. WAKE UP PEOPLE. ✌️☘️

I have a problem with the Department of Homeland Security at the prescreen facility at Shannon Airport. They just ignore me. The Garda Siochana cannot do anything because these Federal Agents have diplomatic immunity. I am trying to set up a meeting with the U.S. ambassador to Ireland at the U.S. embassy in Dublin. I called the U.S. embassy in Dublin a week ago and have not heard anything. The Mooting negations are palpable. My issues involve Criminal Enterprise Involving Public Officials on an international scale. Certain individuals who I do not want to mention destroyed my family and swindled me out of millions of Euro.

Give a good think about it, if you or i did something wrong in the morning, we'd get a visit from the Gardaí. Yet, the dog on the street knows what certain individuals are up to : money laundering, drug dealing, loan sharking etc etc. Yet the same people never see the inside of a jail cell.
Two possibilities
1. The Gardaí are frightened of them , and if this is the case i blame the government and the judiciary for being too soft on organised crime and criminals.
2. The Gardaí are corrupt and are in on it too.
