A couple things not mentioned: 1) If you use Laceration boots with a halberd-type weapon (think scythe, dragonrider lance, masuta's warspear), when you target an enemy with bladed dive, the ability benefits from the extended range of the weapon. This means that if you target an enemy in the middle of a 5x5 group of enemies, you will hit all of them with bladed dive. This makes clearing pretty fast. 2) In the first part with the Leviathan, if it does move sides, it is susceptible to flanking the entire time it is on that side. Use that to make the kill faster. 3) With the Sea Horrors in the area between the Leviathan and Taraket, if you bring a witchwood icon (bought from a slayer master), it will make the typeless damage do significantly less damage. 4) In the Ambassador fight, when you stun the black holes, it resets the cooldown on bladed dive, just like killing the spinners. 5) During the last phase of the fight when the ambassador calls your name, higher level players might want to use magic pray + Reflect + Reprisal for extra damage against the boss if they have enough food.

You make the best guides bro. Some other RUclipsrs don’t explain stuff and expect like we already know it, they don’t realize RuneScape has so much content that the average player doesn’t know it all
*I do show* a "mid level" friendly setup, but save yourself the hassle of trying this solo if you don't have great gear. It won't be worth the death costs. Go with a clan mate or geared out friend.

Today I told my friend to try and learn this Dungeon instead of ED2 which we do runs always, we agreed and watch your video like 3 times, then we went and died like 10 times with my friend but we finally got our FIRST EVER kill and on the FIRST EVER KILL we got the eldrich stock, 1b 500mill ea basically, im still in shock about it
That spinner phase in solo is extremely difficult, killing 4 requires a lot of DPS and skill and using surge across the beam. And then for the explotion the timing for resonance is really hard too, after the first auto attack you’ll only have like 1 second to resonance otherwise your dead. And on top of that you have to attack him to build adrenaline so you can have adrenaline to be able to have reflect and with reflect you’ll still get hit a lot and have to panic eat

I am trying to complete the Curse of the Black Stone quest, which these three elite dungeons are required to complete the quest. I have never been the type to boss or do raids/dungeons. I have soloed the other two dungeons on story mode using a Saradomin Godsword (for the healing ability) and Anima Core of Zaros top and bottom, but I cannot defeat the final boss of this dungeon. His spinner move keeps destroying me because I cannot destroy the spinners in time before he absorbs them. I might be able to destroy two before he absorbs them. I have been playing on and off on my account for about 13 years now. I don't have the money to buy all the new gear used in combat and bossing, either. I feel far behind the curve on the Evolution of Combat, especially with the overall layout of the screen. Is it possible to do story mode in a group of people as well? I tried finding a group, but to no avail. I only want to complete this for quest purposes.
@@Mugenman88 The traveling merchant is definitely the way to go. I completed the unnerfed Livid Farms prior to the Traveling Merchant. I've used the merchant for all my other accounts. It's just not worth the time and cost to grind it compared to the merchant.
You probably can't see it in the video, but that's what I'm using with the scythe when we're clearing. When you actually target an enemy with bladed dive with a halberd-type weapon, the aoe damage that bladed dive does actually benefits from the increased range.
@@Shlippi Yea, I like to do ed3 trash mob runs to get invention xp. I am going to upgrade DRL to noxious scythe. But I mostly have demon horn necklace on. And vampyrism or equilibrium. (Aura) I probably should switch to salve amulet. And amulet of souls. And use scrimshaws then
@@keesjrR if you're just doing trash mobs, demon horn necklace is fine. If you want to do the entire dungeon, I do recommend getting an amulet of souls and a salve amulet. The extra healing from the amulet of souls will keep food usage to a minimum while clearing out the mobs later on in the dungeon. The Salve amulet (e) is so beneficial at Taraket, that you shouldn't use anything else if you have one. The 20% extra damage and accuracy make you hit super hard and never miss. It just makes the kill so much faster
@@Shlippi Yea, I kinda switch to amulet of souls/ brawler knockout necklace. Gonna buy ( blood shard) ancient elven shard for better necklace use. I sometimes switch to sgs for special attack.
I am not sure, if you know this glitch @ProtoxxGaming. If you do ed3 in group: One in group melee attack and deal some damage to Hanto miniboss and then go back. Then other 2 or 1 in group attack Hanto with range or magic and Hanto does not deal any magic. However, if they attack melee, does not work. Easy tokens :)
witchwood icon wil still stop the damage from the horrors. alot of people forget witchwood icon :$ - also if you are on melee or ranged cant you also use disruption shield for 1 of the orbs?

Also during the actual bridge section of your guide you did not mention the witch-wood icon which helps a lot with the sea horrors, by reducing their typeless damage attack
I start out ok, taking little damage then the swipe comes. I run to the correct side but I get drawn back into his attack. MY AUTU RETALIATE IS OFF. I die most times. I stood exactly where your standing and after watching other guides I stand there as well. I always get drawn into his attack.
You have to buy that for 750k dg tokens from the elite dungeon reward shop sadly. On a more positive note it takes "only" 5-8 hours to farm that many in a group
You can't skip directly to him in the current game. That's only a feature for Zamorak: Lord of Chaos (Elite dungeon 4) , which requires a single clear to skip to zamorak)
Just got bisdi after 4 group and 6 solo kc and im upset i got it early since i always said id activate bisdi after getting a solo ed3 kill. Now here i am watching a guide for ed3 like a month before i expected too lol
I solo this dungeon with Seren anima core and virtual book wand with war tort and no soulsplit it's really not hat difficult if u can learn to meunuver ur player so that it's not aggrod to everything at once all the time. Recommend using magic for this rather than melee if u don't have soulsplit as it wil allow u to safe spot alot of the monsters
Ik im 2 months late and you prob figured it out already but in case u havent the armor is custom fit trimmed masterwork it doesnt degrade in elite dungeons like elite tect and sirenic. The gloves are cinderbanes, ring of death, amulet of souls, large rune pouch in the quiver slot, vamp scrimshaw and a max cape and a nox scythe

Everyone should know solo is extremely difficult unless your maxed and have GREATER ABILITIES i don't think anyone can do it without level 90 gear and greater abilities solo
This would be cool if I had any friends playing chose now I have to find a group and that is pretty hard with lvl 75 magic and 70 def chose it seems everyone wants players with higher stats so I just get kicked from the group all the time.
for low level gear, why would you bother putting tier 85 weapons for the melee setup but then tier 70 weapons for the magic and range one? Why not just take the tier 85's considering the drl is just as expensive, if not more so.

I am a low level player, that does this with high level that carry me its really fast xp, I'm am 60 range and 60 defense as long as I keep my distance im fine.
So just for anyone with ~90 melee stats, you will not be able to finish this solo... tried lol, you just wont be able to do damage enough to kill the first boss...

I can't imagine being able to do enough dps to solo the spinners. Were trying to trio The Ambassador but we just dont deal enough damage...

Yes! You can. You should "siphon" your high level gear @gear level 12. Or if you bought extra cheap stuff you can dissasemble that at level 10 for xp.
The sea horrors can be countered by the witchwood icon
In 2 weeks the inventory will change completely because 120 herb, farm, will you update in description that??
It won't change that much, I will add a pinned comment. Some high level potions can be brought along because they are useful though ofc

Well, this was made in 2019, so prices were much different. Items now are really inflated to wise.

I am a low level player, that does this with high level that carry me its really fast xp, I'm am 60 range and 60 defense as long as I keep my distance im fine.
i have to skip into. the sounds give me a headache lol.

So just for anyone with ~90 melee stats, you will not be able to finish this solo... tried lol, you just wont be able to do damage enough to kill the first boss...
