A critical perspective is so valuable. If Agonic hears this it's infinitely more valuable than the hallow praise they've received on plenty of other videos. Thanks for sharing, keep it up
Thank you! Many people call me negative but to me it’s that I see potential. Sometimes a piece of gun or gear is so bad it would need a complete overhaul to be decent, but many times it’s that something is decent and has the ability to be great with some improvements.
Great video, subscribed
I'd say your recommendations are spot on. I haven't bought the belt but I am considering it and the Hunter belt. The only concern I have with the Hunter belt is with the metal insert being too long. The agonic piece looks like a better length for my build. I could probably diy most of the issues addressed with the agonic although a ready to go gen2 version would be nice.
I’m a pretty thin guy with a size 30-32 waist and the metal insert portion is the perfect length. I wouldn’t want it any longer or shorter.
@@LeaveYouWithDaFingerI would personally prefer it to be a little shorter
I would love to see a video comparing the two because I can’t decide which one I would want.
Why not do what they recommend about simply sliding your DCCs through the slotted openings in the belt to increase the width and prevent sliding left/right around the tegris material? It stays low profile but avoids the complaints you have mentioned.
I tried it, but it’s a massive pain to do so. I normally put my holster on the placard before hooking in the buckle. You want to put the belt under tension when it’s hooked and trying to have it under tension and then put the holster on is a pain. Plus the clips are hard to get in and out of the slots, and the buckle gets in the way of some of it too.
Have you thought about having your clips over the Tigris and belt so it's wider?
The issue with that is one, I’m putting the holster on the belt before it’s buckled, and two, some of the clips run right behind the bucks so it would interfere.
Hard pass.
By far the best video I’ve seen on this belt yet. The point on the placard needing to be a little thicker makes me want to consider waiting for a gen 2. I think the fabric over the plastic idea would work well.
On some holsters it’s not a huge issue but on others it’s quite noticeable. I think this belt overall just needs a few minor improvements and will make that Gen 2 a perfect belt.
@@donkeydefense I wear my gun literally 16 or so hours a day so the fact that the one loop you were using was tearing is very concerning. Other than that, this belt seems like it could be the best one so far. Right now the EDC-S belt is king imo
@@LeaveYouWithDaFinger I contacted Agonic about the wear issue so we shall see what they say about that. I need to pick up one of the EDC-S belts to try it as I hear great things from @nightwoodguns.
