Very well could be true. It's exceptional for the style but Beer Snobs love to hate on German beers since they all taste very similar. IMO it's the most flavorful, light, refreshing and drinkable summer beer Europe has to offer, at minimum. There are some very exceptional comparators in the US which I believe are better, but they aren't nearly as widely available - Hope Life Reel Lite Lager is, to me, the best hot weather beer on planet earth.
