Okay, this is the real meaning of the song (i think-) A prince hid/locked himself in a castle, everyone feared him. Until a girl found the castle, picking flowers every day. The prince wanted her to leave, but started to develop feelings. He always waited for her to come back and pick flowers, knowing he can't leave from his insecurities, he just watched her. Until one day, he gave himself confidence to leave the castle and introduce himself, but she never came back. She died (?). He never got to tell her that he likes her, and started planting her favorite flowers.
Yes, also he successfully created a flower that is "out of this world" after failing to make it for many days. He wanted the girl to get it because he saw the girl was selling his flowers to earn a living. But the girl never came back so he searched for her and found out she died because of her illness. The message of the story is that to love yourself. If he had loved himself he could've had the courage to face the girl and confess to her. Hence Jin's line "If I had the courage to stand before you, Would everything be different now" :(
