    Can we add descriptive variables in independent variables?
    E.g., for the hypothesis: Age, gender, education and aesthetic procedure will significantly predict self-esteem levels among adults.

    Sir agr 2 dependent variables hon r 1 independent variable ....then one by one we have calculate regression of IV with 1 DV...and then again 2nd DV....how we form table in apa form???

      We will use simple linear regression analysis for two times. Taking iv and first dv, than 2nd time we take iv and 2nd dv and we will make two tables.

      When you have 1 iv and multiple dv than conduct simple linear Regression analysis by taking dv one by one. Your tables of Regression will be equal to your number of dv

      If the direction of Beta value is against the proposed hypothesis then there may be problem in the data so you may recode into different variable then again compute the data and find the results. I am sharing the link.

      Than conduct multiple Regression for each dv independently. Means, the tables of Regression will be equal to numbers of DV

    Sir kindly explain how to run multiple linear regression if all of the 3 variables/scales have subdomains? Or which analysis we can for these subdomains?

      Do multiple Regression analyses for Total scores of scales and subscales independently, you can also conduct step wise regression analysis (hierarchical regression method based) on your subscales). In any case, you can take one DV at a time.

      @@EverydayPsychology Sir IVs are Caregiver Burden and Social Support, and DV is quality of life. I have used Zarit Burden Interview, Multidimensional perceived social support (3 subdomains), and WHOQOL-BREF (4 subdomains) scales for these variables.

      I think so only percieved social support has sub domains which has sufficient literature. So 1st do multiple regression with (caregiver burden and overall social support as ivs and qol as dv), than do a multiple regression with three domains of social support as ivs and qol as dv) than do Hierarchical regression with three domains of social support as ivs and qol as dv. You can also study care giver burden as iv, social support and its types as moderator and qol as dv (4 models will be made)
