    This video is based on Hierarchical Regression Analysis (theory based) through SPSS and Reporting of Results in APA 7. Hierarchical Regression Analysis is administered with two or more predictors and one outcome variable along with the theoritical background suggesting the relative importance of predictors.

    Hi, how do you decide which predictor variables go to which block? If i am correct, you put the variables that are most likely to be the best predictors (based in theory) in the first blok, then in the 2nd block you put the predictors that are a bit less good predictors compared to the ones in the 1st block (based again on what past research has shown on the topic), and then in the 3rd block the predictors that are even less important (based again on what theory shows), etc... Is that correct?

    Sir if we have 2 ivs and 2 dvs . What regression analysis we’ll run? If we’ll run hierarchical regression analysis that means we’ll make two tables of regression analysis ? I mean one table with one dv and other with 2nd dv?

      Yes you will run Hierarchical Regression two times. [2 IVs with 1st dv] & [2IVs with 2nd DV]. You will make 2 tables of Regression

      @@EverydayPsychology I did, I entered 9 IVs, but in the output, model summary is showing only two IVs... And the rest of the IVs are shown in excluded variable table, does it mean that among all my IVs only two were predictors? The rest of the IVs are in excluded variable table and have insignificant beta values... And what about the reporting? Should i report only two IVs that were found significant predictors in the APA table? Kindly reply as soon as you can.

      Welcome sir. If you have subscales of predictor, than conduct this analysis with these subscales
