But regardless of what you’re trading and what size your account happens to be, there are certain qualities you should look for in EVERY trade.
In this video, lead trainer at StocksToTrade Tim Bohen shares three qualities you should look for in every trade before you buy or sell.
Originally one of my students, Bohen’s spent a lot of time finding his niche and refining his trading techniques. Not only is he a teacher/mentor for StocksToTrade Pro, but he’s also the co-host of the mega-popular SteadyTrade Podcast.

For example, why does the stock chart matter? Bohen loves charts, and you should, too ... regardless of how long you intend to hold a position. There’s so much information in stock charts. These are key tools that can help you avoid the emotion that rules so many traders and causes them to lose money.
You’ll learn what chart time frames you should specifically look for ... and what fakes out so many traders who lose big.

Float, ROI, capital, ma, bollinger, schoastics, rsi, divergence, price, chart, candle type, news, weekly chart, monthly chart, daily chart, trend.
It depends, but I like to look for the price action as well as the chart setting up

Yes! Bohen is an informed guy.
My trades I look for volume, float, news/rumor, charting the events in the past to see how the stock performance on a past news catalyst. SEC filings no warrants/offerings. Last but not least I love to see fomo in chat rooms a lot of people in chats love to follow other people pumping the stock. I enjoyed selling my oil shares at 5 yesterday morning to the ones that were buying in blindly listening to other people saying big gains at open. I sold at 30% profit. Posted I sold in the chat room. Some guy cussed me calling me a dumbass. Bet he was the one buying my shares at a premium price almost immediately after I posted that I sold the stock tanked 10-20% and bled out all day. Thanks to Your video lessons I was prepared for this morning. Always more to learn. Keep em coming!

@@robelasfaw3262 No one really knows. I look at the past reactions or over reactions to news. As Tim teaches look at the past to predict the future.

I'm a noobie at this trading stock world but one thing I've learned is that you allways need to be patient and study. Over time you will progress and another thing I've learned from watching your RUclips vids is that you dont need to be the smartest in the world but understand the techniques.

Hey Tim if I have funneled down to 2-3 stocks do you think it may be possible to profit from them over a 3-4 day period ...
So buying and selling on the same day but also buying the same stock maybe a day or two later and also selling on the same day. I'm trying to understand how important it is to dwindle stocks down to only a couple.
that's not how i'd do it
if you have a big account and trade blue chip stock that go oversold to overbought you might be able to make profits but not realistic on a small account

PDT rule made me have luck on my side this week with WWR. Tried selling earlier but PDT stopped me. Held WWR another day and the stock goes up 4 dollars a share.

Im having trouble with PDT. Finding myself too scared to take a loss and waste a day trade. Putting finger on trigger to buy. Dont buy and watch it run 100+% 10 times now.

Use a cash account until you get to 25k and focus on the long side of things until then is another option no one throws out for whatever reason.
@@josephnissenson3252 yeah ive used a cash acct. I like to swing too certain stocks. Buying last half hour of the day and selling PM next day. I also trade options. But lately ive been momentum and breakout trading the hot market and trying to take advantage while i can. Its super hard to do without day trades. It messes with your mind lol. CMEG or Tradezero are offshore and vetted. They charge small comish but unlimited day trades no settlement for cash ect. Also 4-1 leverage starting at 500 and 6-1 for 2500 and more
After over a year of studying, Ive finally taken the first step to getting my brokerage account. Ive been grinding like crazy these past few weeks, learning new stuff everyday. If I type to many words I will get cut short, As I have learned from you is first price action, volume,look for news, try to judge if the company and product is good at the moment, decifer what the economy and trends are, keep an eye peeled for war which always improves the economy, america will never lose a war!! always remember rule#1, try do think what everyone else will do with all of the above. also look out for companies that do shady deals to benefit themselves above the share holders.
