I read in a paper that CaS is actually the n-type semiconductor. So the p- and n-type semiconductor materials used in this PV cell are CIGS and cadmium sulfide that are sandwiched between the molybdenum positive electrical back contact and the transparent conductive oxide which acts as negative electrical contact.
Thanks for your excellence information, Sir.
How can you have ads on a video that isn't even yours?
Excellent explanations!. A question: What is the function of the buffer layer?
I was thinking the same thing lol
May be for maintaining depletion region stabilized .

CdS has important function in CIGS which avoid recombination of holes and electrons between cigs and ZnO thin film.
You should read less and understand more. It seems to me you dont have a clue of what you are saying and the monitor on your side has its own lecture.
