I've also used rolls of ribbon intact, as risers for smaller Halloween, Fall, and Christmas decorations. The turkey napkin rings are really pretty as ornaments on a tree. Great idea.
Hi Patty! 👋🏻 I’m late to the party but have been enjoying playing catch-up with your videos. The prices you pay at your thrift store just floor me! You are so lucky! 😀 Never having heard of Victorian Bridal Baskets I looked it up and you got yourself quite a fabulous deal. Love your finds! 👋🏻😀❤️
Hi Judy! Thanks for you sweet comments! I did not know about Victorian Bridal Baskets either until I used google lens on the one I found. I just love silver at Christmas, so I was immediately attracted to it! Take care and Merry Christmas!
Good morning, Patty! The Victorian Bride's Basket is gorgeous! I would put some Christmas potpourri in it. I just ordered some Aromatique The Smell of Christmas, and I have a similar silver plate pedestal bowl to put it in. Ribbon has been in plentiful supply at our Goodwill, but I have a huge stash right now. The Currier and Ives tin is beautiful! Thank you for sharing your haul!🎄🎄🎄
Hi Justine! Christmas and silver just go together! I had not hear of Aromatique potpourri - I am going to check it out! It would be perfect in my little silver compote. Thanks for the tip! Take Care!!
New subscriber here and I love haul videos and thrifting, most of my house is furnished with thrift finds. I love those silver pieces, I collect that type of decor myself. Thrifting is even better when you find something you actually need to use in everyday life.
Hi Charlotte and welcome! We are so happy to have you as a new subscriber. I agree - thrifting everyday useful items is fantastic! It amazing what you can find at a thrift store!
I always enjoy your hauls. We seem to have similar taste and look for similar items. You may have heard this many times, but the prices in your locale are 1/4 of the prices here in Northern California thrift stores. I think I spend half the time picking my jaw of the floor as I watch your videos and the other half applauding your beautiful and useful finds.
Hi Liz - so glad you enjoyed the video. I feel fortunate that our thrift shops are reasonably priced - and even then I sometimes feel things are higher than they should be. I cannot imagine what prices are like in Northern California. Take care!
@@daisygirrl1234 I volunteer at a Charity Thrift Shop in Northern California and our costs for utilities and building maintenance have shot up as have the needs and costs for the families our store supports. sooooo, our prices have gone up. I try to keep pricing as close to last year as possible but the needs of the women and children we support have shot up too. It is a sad state for all. oh and I should add, there are NO paid workers in the entirety of our charity. ll of use volunteer. Which I am proud of.
Everything you brought home is useful and at wonderful prices. Once one goes thrifting, it’s hard to go back to the regular way😊
It really is!

I love the idea of using ribbon rolls as risers - so clever! Thank you for sharing that! :)
Lots of good finds, Paula. The ribbons and the tin are my favorites. Really good prices on everything you brought home.

I completely agree with you! Here in New Jersey, the prices in the thrift store and Goodwill’s are ridiculous!
