Hey mate quick questions regarding the waterproofing... Is the battery enclosure the only part of the board that needs waterproofing? I'm just wondering if the motors themselves will hold up going over small puddles. Also, do you have any experience waterproofing with RTV silicone? It's mentioned pretty frequently on the esk8 forum so I was thinking of using that instead of the method in this video. Cheers
great video dude! really cool ideas! im wondering if softer wheels would help absorb impact from crap roads, which is like every road and pavement (sidewalk) in the UK
The foot hook isnt original. Back in the 80's they were sold under the name of skyhook. Then they went away and the rumor was that they were made illegal. I think they just went out of business/ bankrupt.
Apologies if there is any confusion, I only meant that the specific design file i made was unique. The general idea of foot-hooks has been around for a while now. I looked at some of the ones that were around and didnt like them for my needs so i designed one that met my needs instead. I just wanted to let you know that the design in the description was my work.

I cannot deny this statement
How big diameter was you’re wire wrap?
I believe it's measured in width when it's flat and not compressed. I believe this is 1/2 inch wide. It is also fairly expandable. Hope that helps!
Great video guide
Be careful with that weatherstripping that is not waterproof.
