*I think the problem here is that there are SO MANY artists and new releases EVERY year in Kpop, making it harder to keep track of every song that is in our downloads/streams. Unless if you are on a Spotify or RUclips playlist where it keeps on recycling the old songs you once listened to...😌* Dream of You was the FIRST song I listened to on Spotify when it was released in our country in 2021, I OVERPLAYED THAT SO MUCH to the extent that I still have it on my Rewind Playlists:) Bet I don't ever forget that song lol Even if I do, Spotify is there to remind me hehe😂

i think that as kpop groups keep growing and international fans are usually multistans, it is easy to get overwhelmed by new releases and forget songs you used to listen to all the time. some of these reminded me of good times.
I think one of my top songs I love love love but always forget is Tail by Sunmi. I even like it more than some other Sunmi songs but if you asked me out of the blue what my top 5 Sunmi songs are I probably wouldn’t even remember it. I really don’t know why. Yeah sunmi does it best. I mean her sexy concepts are very sly and dark but very sexual. It has a flavor of darkness/melancholia to it too and it's weirly beautiful music

i'm so happy you included my two soloists that i feel like no one knows about, Rothy and BIBI. i feel like people may only know BIBI for the songs that she collaborated/was featured on (like HYO's Second and Choi Ye Na's Smiley) but like she's an amazing singer, rapper, writer, producer, and composer. she actually wrote lyrics for TWICE's More & More!! which surprised me a bunch that she did that! most of the songs i remembered i like.. but for me.. it's kinda hard to keep track sometimes since i am huge multistan of 142 groups and artists and have almost 250 biases. i like girls groups and boy groups and some coed groups too. some male and female soloists too. it's hard sometimes to keep track. but that's why i have documents of all of the members and stuff
BIBI is popular what are you talking about? Her songs are charted pretty now on Melon (though it’s only her OST songs that can get into the chart). 3 millions monthly listeners on Spotify and millions of streams on her own songs. That is much more than HYO’s and Yena’s songs

I still don't have any bias(es) for NMIXX yet but.. i'm sure soon i'll find a bias or two.. i try to have at least 1 bias for each group..

Odd Eye is part of the rock/metal genre which most kpop fans don’t gravitate towards anyways so it makes sense you forget about it. As someone who appreciates a more unhinged sound in kpop, I will never forget about it. Dreamcatcher pushed the boundaries for years and it’s incredibly refreshing. I wish more people appreciated them more.

Yeah this channel has awesome taste! If you’re looking for some more groups too I’d recommend Mamamoo and Red Velvet, both have pretty wide discographies and all of their concepts are just so good
I can literally turn on the kpop girl krush playlist and just listen to it without skipping for a good while. Even though I’m not that kind of person to bc attach to a group and learn names and positions, watch their shows etc, I still really just enjoy the music and vibes kpop girl groups give. It’s great for when I’m exercising as well! That being said I find there are lot of “forgettable” bops but that’s only bc there are always new songs and groups being introduced. I can randomize the play list now and find a new bop lol

The way these are almost exclusively songs I’ve never heard and then bops that never left my rotation (both IU songs, Really Really, Russian Roulette which is RV’s best title, and Wow Thing). The exceptions are NoNoNo, Mamma Mia, and Whistle, which ik but were meh about, and Tinker Bell and To Heart, which I genuinely forgot about.

Yeah this channel has awesome taste! If you’re looking for some more groups too I’d recommend Mamamoo and Red Velvet, both have pretty wide discographies and all of their concepts are just so good
I can literally turn on the kpop girl krush playlist and just listen to it without skipping for a good while. Even though I’m not that kind of person to bc attach to a group and learn names and positions, watch their shows etc, I still really just enjoy the music and vibes kpop girl groups give. It’s great for when I’m exercising as well! That being said I find there are lot of “forgettable” bops but that’s only bc there are always new songs and groups being introduced. I can randomize the play list now and find a new bop lol

The way these are almost exclusively songs I’ve never heard and then bops that never left my rotation (both IU songs, Really Really, Russian Roulette which is RV’s best title, and Wow Thing). The exceptions are NoNoNo, Mamma Mia, and Whistle, which ik but were meh about, and Tinker Bell and To Heart, which I genuinely forgot about.
