You asked about 1920. Poland regained its independence after 123 years in November 1918, but already 3 months later, in February 1919, Soviet Russia started a war against Poland, as there had been a civil war in Russia since 1917 and the Soviets wanted to extend their communist revolution to the whole of Europe. But Poland stood in their way and defeated them in a war that lasted from February 1919 to October 1920. The peace treaty was signed and the borders established in March 1921.
In general, there were many border conflicts and wars between nations in Europe after the World War I. World War I lasted from 1914 to 1918 and it was a conflict between the great powers. Whereas when Germany, Austria-Hungary, Turkey and Russia fell, then many nations regained their independence and started to fight for borders with other nations.

poland didn't defeated anyone, they just invaded ukraine and belarussia since there was a civil war in russia, and they occupied parts of ukraine/belarussia, "in his book, Pilsudski writes about this as follows: "In 1918, I set the goal of war with the Soviets. To be as far away as possible from the places where their world was born. To stop all attempts to impose someone else's life, arranged by non-Poles, once again, 1934 Pilusdki-Hitler pact, 1938 poland invading czechosvlovakia with hitler, why are you lying? i already know what you will say about czechoslovakia, but you will miss the main fact that poland agreed that it was land of czechoslovakia in 1920 by signing a document "The final agreement was signed at a conference in Belgium on July 28, 1920. The western part of the disputed Tesin territory, with the coveted railway, was given to Czechoslovakia, while Poland received the eastern part. The city of Teshin was divided between the two countries along the Olza River.", and ofc i already know that you will say how ussr "invaded" poland in 1939, but should we check how polish government said to their army not to fight with soviets? funny how poles are getting brainwashed by nato's rewrited history since nato just occupied them

@@the_mpower Dear friend from Russia, just a small correction, before the partitions of Poland, Lithuania, most of Belarus and Ukraine were one country, so Poland was only trying to regain its territory stolen by Russia, and as for the Czech Republic, the border region had been passing between the two countries for a thousand years, so both countries may have claims to this territory.

@@the_mpower Just like the Russians and Slovaks invaded Poland together with Hitler in 1939. Besides, I never claimed that a person like Piłsudcki was crystal clear. It is known that he held political opponents and prisoners in camps. History is not black and white, but it has many shades of gray.

They completely skipped over "The Deluge" - by percentage (in Polish lives lost) the most devastating war to happen to Poland. Worse than ever WW2.
