Man, that baby goat launched off that shelf at 6:20 !!!
Apple picker will get those eggs or a golf ball retriever like 64mrbuddy said.
i saw that to..lol
SUPER goat! LOL!!
Wow great life thank you for sharing 🥚
There's a way to check those eggs to see if they are fertilized with a flashlight at night . Shine flashlight from the back of the egg and if you see an embryo then it's fertilized...same with all egg's... Google can show you if you don't already know...thanks for allowing us to be on your journey...I think you-all have the best videos on RUclips.... absolutely... Keep sharing...
Great Sunday morning video. We really enjoy watching your videos and looking forward to the next one.
Get a golf ball retriever. They are retractable and have a good reach. Walmart should have them. Great stuff thanks for sharing
Yeah, that is probably what I see guys picking up trash with. It has like jaws for picking stuff up.
It's like an Easter egg hunt! :)
Hi...... Country View Acres, thank you for sharing your video homestead 👋 bye 👋 bye 👋 bye 👋 🎥👍👍👍
Beautiful morning fog over the lake. Ever thought about Hatching Duck Eggs?
We might one day. But we don't have N incubator or a broody hen right now
Fishing net with a long handle added to it.
The fresh eggs make excellent cake when added to a cake mixture.
Wow...very nice...
That's very wonderful...what a lovely moment your pets...they look so pretty and adorable...I wish I could live such a peaceful life
Egg hunting but easter has long gone! 😂😂😂
Harbor Freight has those grabber things. 3' long. They can even pick up coined on pavement. Very handy. 👌
Injoy watching your vedio
I use a long handled fish net to catch escaping bunnies, and quail, and should work well for scooping eggs too!
Bravo Saudara 👍👍
Salam sukses selalu dari petani lereng gunung Semeru Indonesia 👍👍👍👍
What do you do with all the so of rotten eggies? Love baby goats so fun to watch. You should have a small butterfly net of sorts to dipnet the eggies in the water. Crazy you would think they build floating next or lay eggies in the same spot. stay safe & take care of you all. Thanks for sharing eh :))
We confine out Pekin ducks until their laying season is pretty much done. They do get the idea if you put like a small box about 15 inches square and about the same depth turned on its side. Duck eggs sell for about 3 to 4 dollars a dozen. You can hatch them and raise them for butcher and sell them. We started with six and wound up with over 80 for sale the next season.
Amazing
I wonder if this is where and how they came up with the idea for Easter egg hunts to begin with?
That is exactly what I think so, when I have to hunt for eggs.
duck eggs are good eating to..i used to eat them a lot when i was younger..& geese eggs to..
Buy an incubator then hatch those egg, broader the chicks and release them when they are capable to protect themselves
Baby chickens? Mmm, delicious. Woof!
HELLO folks great channel share folks
You might be able to use one of those tools designed to reach and pick high fruit in the orchard to retrieve your duck eggs from the water.
apple picker wood work to get the eggs out
Just made the same suggestion !
Since I am seeing this six months late you probably already have something to pick up the eggs. If not slide a pitch fork with tines close together underneath them
I follow you from Iraq, continue my friend 🇮🇶❤
Float test them and use them in baking. If they don't float they are fine.
You've got some crazy prolific ducks!! Put your "maybe" eggs into a bowl of water. If they float, they're bad, if they sink, they're fresh if they are in between, obviously they are a little older but maybe still usable
Since we hadn't collected eggs since December, I would have expected to see floating eggs or eggs standing up at the bottom and I haven't. So I am being cautious.
IT IS WISE FOR YOU TO BUILD NESTING BOXES AND BE SURE TO ADD HAY IN THEM FOR THE DUCKS TO LAY THEIR EGGS. THE DUCKS MIGHT HAVE BABY DUCKS FOR YOU !!!
Make a wild duck nesting box and you’ll soon have thousands that you know how old they are!
you have a good place I like it 😁😍
nice
You should maybe go to a golf pro shop and pick up a golf ball retriever. Golf balls and duck eggs are about the same size.
Thx
New subscriber here buddy!
So nice🇧🇩
7:20
I liked how you looked up quickly to see if anybody saw you, almost like you were embarrassed as if we're really watching you live. 🤣 Just jokes but that was funny. 🤣
Comet is built like a small Shetland pony.
As long as they don't float in water there still good to eat
You need a god ball retriever to gat the submerged duck eggs. Real cheap from any golf shop, even cheaper from a buddy who doesn't play any more.
I have two duckies but they already grow
Golf ball retriver with extenable handle
BIG QUESTION: Why don't you eat those eggs???!!! I would be making dishes with these fresh eggs if I were you! I really am curious to know why!
Eggs are fine unrefrigerated for weeks, even months. Those eggs would have been fine to use. I'd check each when cracking of course.
At least you know the ducks are laying eggs, but you need a duck house just like the chicken house. And train the ducks to come out during the day and come in for safety at night. Your eggs won’t go to waste
Hello
Waoww take My ✅✅ like
IS amazing tour Home
FOLLOWING You, You Are Nice and sweet people With You animal farm.😌🌷
Harbor Freight has cheap grippers
Me when I found an duck egg
Me: I'm gonna grab one of this hehe
also me: *run*
Feed those eggs to your chickens. Just make sure your break them up so the chickens dont learn to eat their own eggs. Chickens are like pigs, they will eat most everything! Even chicken!
Maybe you can make a Leche flan
Mantapla
How do you know when eggs are right time to harvest cause I try to get an egg from a goose but ones I cracked the egg there was a baby goose. How can you tell? Thanks.🤔🤔🤔🤔
Shame you don’t have a couple pigs to feed them duck eggs to.a golf ball retriever can extend 15th., look on eBay for a used one. Do you have a neighbor with pigs ?
I wonder if you can't train your ducks to lay in their duck house? Maybe like keep them all locked in there for a few days, and start letting them out only After they've laid eggs?? Maybe once they get used to laying in there and get into more of a normal routine of laying they'll learn that they lay their eggs and then they come out?? I also read that if you have their nesting boxes too high that could be why they're not, as in the wild they just make nests on the ground, so if you haven't already, maybe put a nesting box for them on the ground in their duck house and provide them with a lot of straw..?? That was a LOT of eggs you found though 0_0 Lol :)
Use a golf ball retriever to get your eggs.
Where is your homestead?
LOL comet acts so offended by them ! Duck eeggs go bad?
Don't know if you read comments from this far back, but if I were you I'd be very wary of the big dog around those kids. The ONLY times I've ever seen a dog that intent has been just before an attack. He "really" likes those baby goats.....be very wary.
You could have tried to artificially hatch the Duck eggs by keeping them under some heat lamps?
Did you find the eggs by the goats???
Your wrong about not being able to have nesting boxes for Ducks! They can be trained to lay in boxes! Thanks for sharing!
I have heard muscovy ducks are the easiest ones to train to a nest box.
If the eggs do not float in the water they are good to eat.
It looks like Normal chicken eggs and If that Was A Nest There Would OfHave Feather Bushes around it
Hatch em’
Why wouldn’t you eat the eggs? Is there any danger eating them?
Oh man that is just so ducky. Sorry for the pun. It’s a shame you can’t use the eggs
I thought they where going to show what you can do with the eggs that have been found. i’m confused 🤷♀️
Put them in your compost and also feed to your animals. Never waste anything on a fatm
Is there any way to check them like chicken eggs.get a long fishing net and just scoop them up and the goats are looking good thing for the video have a great day 👍👍👍😀😎
You might be able to check them the same way you check chicken eggs. But I would think I would have seen some floating in the pond, since we haven't collected any since last year, but I haven't. So I am not taking any chances. Everything we find should be fresh from here on out.
send the egs to me and my wife..
He should try to hatch those eggs.
It is eggs of aligator
feed them to your dog and the chickens great for the dogs coat makes it really shine
But if feed them to the dog you run the risk of making him an egg sucker.

Dumb question, does poultry have to be inseminated in order to produce eggs or are some eggs just eggs? If all eggs are produced due to fertilization then how do farmers know which eggs are embryoed and which are still just yolk?
Poultry produces eggs, with or without a male counterpart. If a male is present then most of the eggs will be fertilized, but really not difference in the way the egg and yolk look, unless the egg is incubated an allowed to grow.
@@CountryViewAcres okay. So I can keep my layers separate from chick producers?
You took away ALL the eggs. That's cruel !
That's not how ot works with ducks and their eggs. Nothing cruel about it.
If you were to leave the duck eggs that you are unsure of their freshness wouldn't you get baby ducklings? win win right?
Victoria Heuman not necesarily. Raccoons and foxes and skunks love them.
Not if a female doesn't sit on her eggs, until hatched 28 days later.
Is that Pond a natural one or you created yourself?
The pond dam was built in 1984 by a previous owner.
@@CountryViewAcres Thank you for a reply. I would like to know what do you recommend when building artificial pond , is it better that way or should i do cement.
Where are the ducks ? Why don’t they set on their eggs ?
Dena Redford ducks are notoriously bad sitters! What you do is stick them under a broody hen. She cant tell the difference!
Pena que nao entendi nadinha do que ele diçe

You have let your livestock out of that barn and the chickens .
He does. They go outside to a very large area daily.
Get a fishing net.
I would not eat the underwater eggs.

The only sit on their eggs if they turn broody and want to hatch out some babies. So far. None of our ducks have gone broody.
