When we're honest with ourselves and, then, with others..we go on to higher ground. I'm drawn to people who don't pretend that life is perfect and that they have it "all together"--because None of us do. Life isn't some Fake "reality" show. So, again, Thank You for being Truthful. And happy that you're moving forward a step at a time--it's all we can do.👍
I'm right there with you, we all live in the real world. We see things everyday good and bad. Life is challenging enough I like real friends to. Bless you 😊
Good morning from Troy, Tennessee 😊 I have been watching you for several months now. My name is Cynthia, and I am 60. YOU and your way of life and being fruggle is the reason I watch you. I can relate on so many levels. I too had the same issue with my mouth. I had 27 teeth pulled 2 years ago and I want to say, it will get easier, the pain will lighten up but.....I know your pain! Your going to be so pleased when you get your permanent set. They are smaller. Just take your time adjusting. If you get a sore spot that seems to not ease up, let the dentist look at it and suggest shat to do. I used my grandsons "Hurricane Gel" that was for his teething. BUT, I asked my dentist first. It helped numb the sore spots so much!!! My speech therapy was a chair and my bedroom mirror. Just like your friend mentioned...ABC's, my childrens name,my grandsons name, my dogs name, general words I use in a conversation. I sat in front of my mirror and watched my mouth as I spoke because I thought I looked ridiculous, but I didn't. I practiced laughing, smiling and. The whole time I talked to God! It is very hard to lose your teeth, it is a hard feeling to know they are gone, but feeling miserable for a little while is going to be so much better soon and just as natural as ever! Im praying for you, Im claiming a quick, successful recovery! God bless you beautiful lady! From one fruggle person to the other. This IS a VICTORY ! Sending thoughts and prayers and much love to you Carie. ❤😇🙏
Thank you so so much for sharing this with me. I connected to you instantly. You described everything in feeling. Thank you for the tip for numbing. Hubby bought me some orajel last night for the exact pain your taking about especially on the front gum wall area. I'm sending you hugs my friend God bless you!!!!
So Sorry for what you have lived through. But the Final Result is FINE. You look FANTASTIC. In the Final...God is with you. You deserve NOT to suffer. We pray for Happy Days ahead. Aria
Glad to have found you today. Morning is a beautiful time and you've reminded me that it's from God. I'm going through bad times with my teeth and I will continue watching you because you are so uplifting this morning. I hope you feel well and you feel wonderful next week. Thanks again I will watch your older videos also looking forward to that
Thank you for sharing EVERYTHING about this BEYOND description video. As a city gal to hear those amazing nature sounds was so AWESOME! Morning Has Broken was my 8th grade graduation song back in 1972. Imagine! Forever my favorite! Such a beautiful hymn and meaningful. Your new smile MAGNIFIES the actual personality gifted by God. He loves us to shine! We are so Blessed!
I LOVED the coffee and conversation. Sometimes we do not know our own strength until it becomes our only choice. You brighten my day. I am praying for you also. Until next time. Sending hugs.🥰Kim 62 Minneapolis
I had my full mouth done last year and it has been the best thing that ever happened to me appearance wise. 4 implants and about 2 full months of nagging healing pain.. everything is set up and much better.. you are going to love your new smile. a woman with her child came up to me and I heard the woman say to her child .. that man has beautiful teeth... I must have been smiling from ear to ear by the time that woman left... I had never heard that before in my life. God does not give you more than you can handle, your going to be fine
Good morning Carrie. Thanks for having coffee and sharing your journey with us. All God wants is a YES 🙌🏽 TO GOD BE THE GLORY FOR ALL HE HAS DONE FOR YOU. I can truly say that I love you with all my heart. Thank you for encouraging me. Peace and Blessings 💞💖💞
Your speech sounds fine to me. And oh, what a beautiful smile you have!! The pain and discomfort you have right now will pass… and it will all be worth it! You’re a beautiful person inside and out Carie! 🩷 God Bless You
Lynn here what a beautiful garden.I love how you can hear the birds.I live on a main road and all I hear is traffic .Carie take care you are going to be o.k.
I remember wanting bread so bad when I first had my upper teeth done. My kids laughed, not mean but with a fun spirit. I soaked bread in milk or water and sort of kind of chewed but mostly worked it in with my tongue on the roof of my mouth. You are doing great people. Just keep going. Like that fish on Nemo just keep swimming. God is so good!
Lol that's what I ended up doing with my bread. I well put it in my soup to soften it more so I was able to eat it.....i miss my own Mediterranean food so badly..... but I know in time
Many people are not aware that teeth and mouth infections can cause much larger problems 🙃. Heart and infections throughout the body...I lost more than half of my teeth. If I hadn't would have worsened my health.
You’re sounding really good and strong. These choices are hard but making the right ones are so worth it. By you sharing what you’re going through will help others make these same tough choices. I appreciate the encouragement you constantly give, I’m working on making our eating healthier. Thank you, and be blessed. God is good.
I saw one of my best friends endure years of pain and humiliation because her teeth were not perfect. It was so sad. She finally got new teeth and she has the most beautiful smile and is so happy. It took her a little while to get through what you are going through right now, but I have never seen someone so happy to go through it. She was thrilled to finally get new teeth and feel good about smiling. Jesus Loves You. You are blessed and beautiful. Have a wonderful day. See you next time.
Love you Carie! I teared up as I watched this. God is so good. His love nevr fails. He loves you oh so much, as we do too. You look amazing, and are talking amazing - especially since it's been such a short time. I'm so glad you made the decision to do the right thing for you, and I got a little tickled when you said you got annoyed with your husband when he said you should have them all out. You are a very real, very warm and caring person, and God definitely has a plan and purpose for you. I've been learning so much about the health benefits of eating breads with fresh milled flour. Love you and thanks so much for taking the time out of your day to talk to us.
Yes Sue becker And Grits and grains are the two where my milling journey started at. I'm no longer turning back to the old flour ways. My body even craves this type of bread.
So excited to see you!! And you look great! Sending this before I listen to the all of the video, because I'm just so excited to see you do a video! Mary
I have ended up back in the hospital. Yesterday I was almost moved to the ICU. I’m worried about getting up enough videos to draw in subscribers. My brother went through the same process as you. He even had implants but ended up with the dentures. I’m praying for you to do well on this part of the journey. Gods got this.❤
Oh hun im praying for you. Honestly if your subscribers are a tight family they will stay with you . I lost alot but today it doesn't bother me. What matters is my family on this channel. Prayers for a speedy recovery hun. This is why I ask folks to pray for one another.
I am coming over from L&L Honey comb Homestead. Thanks for sharing this video. New friend here. Showing you support. Sharing this video is going to help so many people. Have a blessed day
Thank you for your honesty and sharing your vulnerability. I just turned 50 and I am set for dental surgery in a month from now. I will be getting implant supported bridges so a little different from dentures but I will still need to get used to a prosthesis. I had to take action because like you had, I have constant infections, bad teeth, etc. Again, thank you for sharing ❤️
Congratulations on new smile. You look great! 🙂 I am sorry you had to go through this. Health comes first. Sending you a big hug from your "Norwegian sister" and praying your mouth will heal soon. About my geneology search, I have to tell you; I have been busy these last couple of weeks, We are cleaning out of my mothers flat to get it ready for sale. She has moved into a retirement home. She has hold on to so many treasures from furniture and lots of other stuff from generations before us. In an old leather briefcase, that belonged to my great grandfather, I found a long letter from his cousin that had emigrated from Norway to the USA, some years before. In this letter he writes that he had relocated from the Minnesota area to start homesteading in Robertsdale, Alabama. I was so surprised. I didnt know I had any relatives in the Southern part of the USA. This letter was dated in 1911, he was a fantastic writer. I am just so sorry I didnt find any more. So intrigued, his name was Johan Hauge or Haugen.
This was exciting reading this I can only imagine the journey and path your going through while finding many new arms exciting things. A learning lesson in its own path. Hugs.
I am glad that you braved through. I will keep you in my prayers. Pain is something I am all too familiar with. I have not had a single day in 8 years that I haven't had body pain. I keep hoping to find someone who will help me. I just got AmBetter insurance. It is the first time I have had insurance in 8 yrs. I am not able to work due to my chronic pain from artery disease , fibromyalgia, and osteoarthritis. God is the only way I am able to still be here.
Bless your heart, as I stand here humbled once again. Mine pain is nothing like yours hun and I sincerely pray for Gods healing upon you in the name of Jesus.
Sitting here listening to you as I try to get dressed trying to get my body to say ok lets go out and mow my right leg statys hurting after just a bit of walking my inside of mouth hurts with a small scrach but life goes on Morning has Broken Blessed with one more day Hod Bless You Sister
Ive been through it, and it definitely hurts. I wanted all of mine removed at the same time. The dentist talked me into only doing the top, saying the bottom could be repaired and last longer. I will say this, it truly takes a good year for the adjustment. 5 years later i had the bottom done, and was truly thankful i had waited. Your bottom teeth are like your anchor and its much more difficult to adjust. I am 65 and had top removed at 55 and bottom at 60. When your teeth are making you sick then its time to have them removed. You can do it, one day at a time, and its so freeing to not suffer with bad teeth anymore. And believe it or not but your tongue can be retrained to talk❤
Trust the lord for he knows your pain and knows what you need and as the days goes by your pain will be less and less. For there is no victory without pain. God bless, and know that the lord doesn't give you more than you can handle. There are people in the world with no cure for what makes them ill, and that what we should be thankful for.
It was so nice to see you again. It is so hard to be in a vulnerable situation. I also to underwent major surgery in my mouth of a few years ago, so I totally understand where you come from I was also so vulnerable. There was only one way that was to take care of what was going on in my mouth but you look amazing and your garden is so beautiful.
My Husband just got his teeth a few weeks ago. His main problem is gaging on his new teeth, eating and speaking. His mouth no longer hurts all the time so it is worth it. You are doing great.
I had 23 teeth pulled 1day and dentures put in the same day ( I was glad I had several taken out before), I had 1/2 of pain pill before they were afraid I might be allergic so the numbing shots in the mouth and 1/2 of a pain pill was it. I survived and I can promise you every week will get better. Your new smile is beautiful.
I sure hope you didn't feel all that either, bless your heart, and thank you. The sore in my mouth is mainly in the lower denture across the bottom gum wall not where the teeth were extracted from. And the tops don't bother me at all any more. The front line gum area on the bottom keeps me from chewing to. If that would stop hurting im good to go.
@@partinsheritagehomestead4981 I used the sea bond pads inside to cushion them it kept them from rubbing and getting sore it will also help keep them in place as the swelling goes down. I felt a lot, but I wouldn't have let them put me out either not because of cost but I wanted to be aware of what is going on. I had it done the 2 days before Christmas and cooked Christmas dinner for 4 of us. I blended roast beef and gravy and just had to swallow and mashed. yum but they don't recommend that, that early but I was careful.
Yes dental Spell is expensive if it wasn't for insurance and tax money this wouldn't be happening. Now as long as our insurance contiues their part instead of not paying leaving it to me, ill be able to finish this.
I have been where you are at and had the same dental journey.....it is a very big painful journey....the lowers give me the most trouble ...I pray your pain get better each day..xo
Been there. I still have trouble pronouncing t's v's and d's. Its hard to adjust to it. You look so beautiful. Im 7 months with mine. Theres a lottttttt of swelling that it is still changing but worth it.
Cassie please cheer up , your teeth look lovely, but they need getting used to , my mother who was also an attractive looking lady like you lost all her teeth at 39 after giving birth to me late in life , I took all the calcium out of her body and her teeth crumpled and she had them all removed and had dentures which she wore till her death aged 76 , you could not tell she wore them , they are sore till your mouth adjusts I think ,stay your positive self , life is too good to put up sore teeth constantly getting infected 😊

You are beautiful.

Saw dentist yesterday will be getting a partial to cover missing teeth. 😕 Will be a big change! Have 2 insurance dental coverage but still lots of $$.
Yes dental Spell is expensive if it wasn't for insurance and tax money this wouldn't be happening. Now as long as our insurance contiues their part instead of not paying leaving it to me, ill be able to finish this.

Thank you hun 😊
