Chances are that it was not wired up correctly. You should have a 10 or 15amp fuse going to the coil side of each relay and a 30amp fuse going to the load side of the relay that feeds the fan. One relay per fan, one 30 amp fuse per relay.
The temp switch is the ground, so the negative side of the fan goes into one side of the temp switch and the other side goes straight to ground. Is that how you have it wired up?

I got the same probe into the fins...Do you prefer this over a temp erature switch on the manifold or the side of the heads?
Which pin did you use as the ground to the vehicle? Number 1 or 2?

I just wired it up same way u did and for some reason I keep popping the fuses. Is there something I did wrong?

It looks like you have 2 ground wires coming from the temperature switch? I hooked it up that way and the fan doesn’t come on at all
