Just bumped into ScreenX on Regal's website, decided to see what it is about, while I like the concept, the screen should be curved more and wrap the audience more than IMAX rather than 3 square pieces. And for the record I wouldn't mind the Exit signs and Emergency Lights in either case.
I saw "Ford v. Ferrari" in the Screen X format but the screen divisions, the exit sign on one wall and the fire alarm mounted on the other wall were clearly visible when the film was projected on those walls and only served to take me out of what was suppose to be an immersive experience.
Ah. So the rumors are true. They just project directly onto the plain wall. No screen. The emergency exit lights and other things attached to wall is rather distracting.

I think I hate it, but it's rare to find any actual footage of this concept in action, so thank you so much for posting, it's really appreciated!

Those exit signs bother me
Probably best if sitting in the front balcony.
Hi! What row were you in, if you don't mind me asking?

Its more distraxting from the main screen.
🚩Curved Screen Yes or no.
Not sure I like this. Needs to be a curve like cinerama
Same
Poor excuse for CINERAMA!
