This is true, especially in GA. I lived there for the longest year and a half of my life, and I can safely say that I ran into a lot of disrespect and misogyny in my everyday life. This is obviously political in nature for those two judges to dismiss Fani Willis’ entire office from the prosecution. We MUST have judges who are NOT making decisions based on political leanings. This is outrageous and it is showing the weaknesses that have crept in to our judicial system.

Are there more than two judges in this entire country who aren't afraid of Trump? The only two that I have heard of who aren't afraid to actually prosecute Trump are the judge in Colorado who adjudicated him an insurrectionist and said he wasn't qualified to be on Colorado's ballot and the judge who dissented in this case. All the others are either too afraid or have been paid off by Trump. If Willis was a "single cat lady" they'd have said her single, non-family lifestyle was suspicious and problematic. Being a woman is an achilles heel.
This is true, especially in GA. I lived there for the longest year and a half of my life, and I can safely say that I ran into a lot of disrespect and misogyny in my everyday life. I decided that I couldn't raise my kids there, especially my daughter. As for Willis, being a person of color probably added to it due to the bigotry that exists in that state as well.

I am a Georgian. You can be sure that a Republican will be chosen to take DA Willis' place; one that was not elected by voters (as DA Willis was). And one who will do exactly as the GOP directs. That has been the goal of the Georgia GOP all along.
Why? Because Willis had the tenacity to hang in there, determined to do her job. They couldn't fire her for being incompetent, because clearly she isn't.
She has stayed to do her job despite the obstruction from her bosses (all Republicans). She has continued to do her job despite the threats against her personally & her team members (threats that have been from Republicans only).
The Georgia GOP has been determined to get rid of Ms. Willis. Why? Because she is doing her job - prosecuting criminals.
The fact that the criminals she is prosecuting are Republicans, is the problem. The Georgia GOP will not allow a Republican to be prosecuted if they can stop it.
If it had been a Democratic candidate who had done what Trump did, that Democrat would have already been tried, convicted, and sent to prison to serve a very long sentence.
Georgia is run by Republicans. They are the majority of our officeholders, and they intend to keep their power, and protect other Republicans, even though they are corrupt criminals. And they will use whatever means is necessary to protect their power, legal or not.

The Constitution states that insurrectionists can not hold a government office unless a two third majority in both Congress and Senate allows him to . In my opinion, the onus is on Trump and the GOP to secure the votes required to take office . Failure to do so should result in a cancellation of transfer of power through default . Under normal circumstances, the incoming president would take an oath to defend the Constitution . But in this case, he would be removed for breaking the pledges while in the process of destroying the Constitution that he pledges to protect . May I suggest that as Commander- in -chief of the armed forces that he faces a firing Sqad . This would force Trump to Grov.el before the people he often refers to as losers
