These are for both the 13.56 (Mifare) and 125KHZ cards. The model number for the Mifare unit is MF-522. The one not hooked up in the video is the RDM-6300. Don't do anything you shouldn't be doing while reading or programming RFID cards...
Here is the code/instruction I used:

I cannot an will not provide input on "cloning" or "duplicating" cards so don't ask :)

RFID is -WICKED- for live Role-Play costumes. Put an RFID chip in a gauntlet, and an Arduino and the reader inside a book. When your hand (with the chip) comes close to the reader, the Arduino lights up a sequence of RGB LEDs to light up runes on the book. Or have the reader in the head of a staff, when your hand comes close, you light up the head with LED. ^^
Is there a way to use this or something like it to edit the amount of tickets on a ticket card from an arcade
what is the diffrence between nfc shield and this card
and how do i make the data to get dumped on a sd card
j'adore ! merci pr cette video mr. lebg
Hello, Thank you for this vid ! I have a similar school project, its about "controlling a door lock using a smart card ACS (not RFID) ", and i'll use Arduino to communicate (serial communication) with the chip card , through the ACR38 usb card reader. And i really need some help... Thankyou
love the max headroom thing you got going on there at the back of the bench
+vizionthing Haha I never noticed that. Cheers. Eric
Great intro video.. Looking forward to checking out your forums :)
+Gerrit van Rensburg Thanks for the feedback!
Can you provide the link to the Audino Kit you mentioned that came with the RFID reader?
hey, can you explain more about the wiring?? it really messed me up to think which plung onto which :/
great content but can we decrypt gsm packets
Hello, do you think we wan clone a ski pass ?
is there any way to change the id of the 125 kilohertz card to be read by the window notepad reader?
i have problems with deluns key card, can i get help ?..
how can i change the contains of the card ?
help me out..
how to find the 12 digit number of the rfid card....
thank you..
Does this work on RFID cards used as a peyment method? If you could edit your card and get money?
I tried to verify my code after downloading all the libraries and it says "The handle is invalid." do you have any advise?
Hey
can you share the code to read HID cards or any links where i can find it ????
hello from chile , I wanted to ask how you can make the program samples in the video but with CCS compiler , have the same rc522 reader and 16F628A pic ...... I just want to read 2 RFID cards and nothing more ...
Cheers
Could you help me please ??
+Patricio Gonzalez S. Not sure on that one. Good luck with your project
Does the USB card reader work on Linux systems?
Can you give me a link to the 2nd card reader thanks
does this mean if i 'borrowed' one of my teachers cards at school and quickly scanned it but had the arduino dump the info onto an sd using an sd shield i could then clone it when i got home and have access to all the off limit parts of my school ?
Jason Wenden yes, is the same as if you stole a key. You can copy it.
+Jason Wenden Sometimes.
Some RFID cards support a basic encryption system where there are registers you can't read without the proper keys.

i actually know someone who had permission from his teacher to try it, but our school had an secure encryption system.
Can you scan two card ID with one scan?
nice video; very well explained and non pretentious (yes thanks you!!) Got both my like and subscribe
+Lila Alex Inglis Glad you joined us. Hope you find some other videos on the channel you like. Cheers
Can i upload tags to the chip?
You can change the data and the number of dots in the rfid tag
salut svp jaimerais avoir un code pour afficher les information de la carte magnétique sur l'ecran LCD
do youcone how to duplicate NFC cards?
will this read HID prox cards?
how can i connect arduino rfid 13Mhz to VB.net and mysql?
Hey Eric ... Very informative video ... Can you please tell me how can the reading distance be improved i.e how to increase the card reading distance.... Please do let me know
+Nikhil Rao Not sure on that one
Eric William Hope you are doing well I have been looking for two days now and i still cant anything that can help me. I am working on a small school project where I am to make The RFID Mifare card to be the student card and it will allow for the student/employees to make purchase from any shop on campus and also to allow access control, it will be a web based application i have the Card reader ( DG-608 MIFARE READER/WRITER ISO14443A/B,ISO15693) and the card (Standard IC MF1 IC S50) My problem is how can my application retrieve the information from the card through out the card reader. Please your advise will help me a lot. thanks
rc522 rfid can read 125khz cards?
If I'm right it cloud be very easy to copy for example travel card or just top it up see what's going on and than we cloud be topping it up whenever we want, or contactless bank card... is it ?
Check out the description for that answer..
Whatsup, Eric! I am desperately in need of help. How do I write on a blank card!? Just to fill it in with whatever I want to make, for example, my own card lock system. How do you do this?
did u find any answer for your question?and if u did can u share with me plz :D
i think this one is for cloning purpose, so it'll need master key to do it.
hi!! can i ask something??...it's needed computer after put the programming to the arduino??or still need for computer or need storage for the data if did not want to use computer??and how to use at least 30 card??
I don't think it needs to be hooked up to a computer after the programme is installed.
I like the facecam on 2:45
i saw that to haha
can i get a 900 version?
Hello Eric, I just saw your awesome video of RFID hacking cards.
so, I need your help of how to copy an existing access card parameters to a new one, using ACR122u, or is there any simple way to do?
simply, it's a card of accessing parking gate.
Thanks in advance..

i tried that same code with the same RFID card and i get an error code.
hello, great video but the link in the discription of the code doesn't work for me. So how can I open the link?
Site is back up now. Cheers
why i can not make my RFID reader read my card when im using arduino mega? can u explain. can u give me what should i modify in coding.
+kamarul azli I would suggest posting in a Forum for help with code. Cheers
i want to know if there is a UHF one for arduino?
UHF RDIF systems are almost alwayd designed for "professional" use and they often are very expensive (the reader, not the tags!)
+Integrated Electronics *RFID not RDIF, sorry...
whats the point of engineering when theres already code available?
I wonder why the Raspberry Pi was not used as it has a more powerful processor and can be programmed under GCC and Code::Blocks.
Simple answer- because a micro controller can do it just fine with tonnes of cycles to spare. I often compare such things to using a Howitzer to kill an ant.... :) Cheers
An RPI is classified as Single Board Computer (SBC) while an Arduino is a Microcontroller(uM/MCU) platform.
Think of a Microcontroller as a tiny computer on a chip(IC). They are used because they are tiny, cheap, and consume little power. Look for bareDuino, you can minimize your project to just use that.
www.thingiverse.com/thing:20015 and since you are into RPI see this great mag it's free: v.ht/rpimag
what could you actually use it for? looks really interesting but what could you do with it?
+Cam Hart Lots of uses. Keyless entry into doors, animal feeders, gates, etc etc.
404 - File or directory not found. is what the link show me
What about encrypted RFID cards? Is there a workaround for that?
Refer to the text in the description :) Best of luck
I want to make a lock that I can open with my NFC-enabled phone. Is this a possibility?
Definitely possible. Just need to build an NFC lock
So you can put a credit card up to that? And it will get the credit card numbers?
Dalton Erickson no
can i have the code here?
When I clicked on the code/instruction link, this comes up.
403 - Forbidden: Access is denied.
Mohd Akmal Zaki Hmmm not sure on that one
maybe there is smething wrong that u should check...
If your PC was part of a bot network the IP could be banned. Try a different PC.
Eric William haha.... I try now it's good...no problem...on my PC...
Hey, the link "Here is the code/instruction I used:" is down. please reup.
+Marco Lehmann It is up just fine. Either you are using a VPN with IPs used for attacks, or a plain normal IP that was blacklisted for attacks. Cheers
Thank You

Looks like a 125 kHz EM4100 based unit. Lots of info out there. Google "RDM6300 RFID"
thanks .. it works..
Good stuff

I can see you in the mirror near the computer
Crap my cover is blown. Off to witness protection!
Did you even hack it ? you just manipulated it. that is why RFID are useful they are easy to manipulate that bar codes
I dont like your video as you dont provide a code for cloning cards.
