I just finished baking this bread. I would mention two things that you could do in the future. You should mention the size of the pan. You can also talk about oven heat. You are not using an aluminum pan which means you have decreased the heat. The rule of thumb is once you are using pirex, dark tins, etc., you should decrease the heat by 25 degrees F. This information would help new bakers. The written recipe did not mention instant yeast which you used. Maybe this can be amended on the written recipe. Thanks for the video.
So how did the bread came out.. How did it taste??? I think you should've mentioned that as well.. as you mentioned the flaws... which therefore could've been called *ConStruuctive Criticism* JS
Great recipe thank you! I used coconut oil, coconut sugar, and Himalaya salt to make it even healthier! I also added some cashew, brazil nuts, and pecan to it!
This recipe has inspired me Thanks for the idea of the coffee grinder. I have definitely underestimated its potential in my kitchen. You have exploded my culinary mind to greater interest and excitement. Am doing this today. Thanks
If Live in New York City, can shop at East Indians supermarket name Patel Brothers, In Queens & Manhattan, their Flours, have ALL OF THESE Flax seeds, oaks, millets, plus MORE, Check it out.
Thanks, I am going to try tonight. My only though about this is when you leave the bread in the pan so long, it keeps cooking. Bread should be removed within 10 min from the pan and put on a rack to prevent moisture from forming on the bottom crust.
Eaf, Thank you for this recipe😊-found the full recipe in the description +the recipe is #1 in the comments.I am making this loaf right now-my dough is in the 2nd proof as I submit this. I'm glad I found a gluten-free AP flour+ I added 3TBS Chia seeds with the 1/2 Cup flax seeds & used yogurt with the oil & H2O😊😊😊
What a lovely bread.. im going to try this soon. You are such a wonderful and pleasant individual and isn't ashamed of anything..everything is real and local. I like watching ur videos. Keep it up.
My loaf has ten more minutes to bake. I have a ten-pound bag of unbleached all-purpose flour, and wanted to make something healthier than my usual white bread. This is just what I needed. My changes: proofed the yeast separately and used molasses instead of sugar. Added some vital wheat gluten, just because. I already had flax seed meal, wasn't sure if 1/2 cup of it was the same as before ground, but that's how much I used. I may not have the patience to wait for it to cool before I cut into it, but I'll try.
Oats & Flax are a wonderful healtby combo! Thankfully they sell oats flour now so it is more convenient. To make it an actual healthy option, we could eliminate the all purpose flour as well as the yeast and replace with baking powder. In addition, we could use whole milk yogurt to replace all the other ingredients and that bread comes out so heavy, you only need one little slice to become full!
Great! Your bread looks really superb dear. It would be nice of you to share the measurement of the ingredients so that I can definitely try this recipe .
Definitely will have to try this version using flaxseed. Just baked a few days back using oatmeal, whole-wheat and regular flour 😋😋 Thank you for sharing... enjoyed watching your video!
Miss Lady, you upset me when you just pushed away the end slice! It's the best part of homemade bread.😁 But it did look quite appetising. I will try this recipe.
If you blend the oats into a fine powder I think yes. If you don’t grind them down they don’t mix well with the wet mixture and will be really crumbly.
You need the gluten from the white flour to give it the texture. You can vary the ratio, but it will become more crumbly with less rise the lower the proportion of wheat flour
thankyou Emily i would like to try your recipe, but i need more information. like HOW much flax do i need to use how much sugar? how much flower, this seems to be missing>??>
Why not put 1/3 cup of those three items and see how it tastes. The taste will be different from the recipe with the two items. You can do the original recipe first and then compare tastes and then you can decide what proportion to use for each of the three items. I hope this helps.

Thanks for this but don't pyrex dishes take longer to heat so time would be increased or decreased?

Great recipe thank you! I used coconut oil, coconut sugar, and Himalaya salt to make it even healthier! I also added some cashew, brazil nuts, and pecan to it!

Oh gorsh I want to try this but I don’t have a spice grinder, what’s a next way I could grind the oats because I have flaxseed that already grind?
Hi you can grind it in a food processor as well.
Your blender is also a good option
You can get one for about 150 at courts
Use your regular blender. The oats will get fine like powder..
It's a coffee grinder that can be used to grind spices etc..
