There is no way that you cannot love this band. So extremely talented. I love them and they are my favorite contemporary band and music. They are up there with Zeppelin, Beatles, Stones, ... all the greats. Excellent reaction. Please do more by them.

When she wants to, Yuko has such incredible warmth in her voice while maintaining her usual brightness. The entire band generates such a lovely atmosphere with simply a touch of one instrument here, a touch of another one a few seconds later, and then there's a little bit of a build here and there, and every so often it swells into a chorus. The symphony's string section adds a lot here, too. Just wonderful.
As far as a recommendation, I think you'd enjoy their song "Synchronicity." It's not a cover of anyone, but it's quite different for them. While it has an official video in both short and long versions, I'll link my favorite live version here.

Also, there's another version of "Synchronicty" that Yuko and Machiya performed from their homes where it's just their voices, Machiya using an acoustic guitar as a percussion instrument more than he's playing the strings, and a person named Hirota Tamami assisting by playing piano and "keyboard harmonica." Maybe it could be a double reaction? Either way, I think this version should go second to the full band's live version.

A friend of mine introduced me to Wagakki band. I asked him if their music was always combing traditional Japanese and J-Rock, he said yes, so they became my favorite band instantly.
Two songs I really like from them are usually combined in one are "Homura" and Akatsuki no Ito. here's a link to a performance of these songs played as one.

Beni Beni Beni! Traditional Classical Contemporary WHAT a Blend. On a side note I don't understand most North American singers especially Heavy Metal singers so I have NEVER been caught up in the "I Have to Know what they are Saying" thing I treat Vocals as another instrument (I don't understand Guitar language either or Bass Language)

I am one of those that don’t have to have subtitles to enjoy a song I use it usually when it is suggested or requested for certain videos. To me though music is a languageless form of expression and what I mean by that is you don’t have to understand what is being said to feel the emotion of the song. When I listen to it I still get those goosebumps. They are so awesome I can’t wait to get to the next reaction.

Yuko composed this beautiful song. There is another video at a different concert. My favorite band! They all compose songs and are just beautiful. If you want videos with lyrics, go to the CC W channel. Thank you for great reactions.

Before Wagakki Band became my favorite band instantly and there is not one song from
them that I don't like,. Basically I like every song from Wagakki band, and in case no one mentioned it, Wagakki means "traditional Japanese instruments"..
A really multi talented and super famous in Japan J-Rock singer called "Gackt" in English, has been my long time favorite. I personally think he is one the best male J-Rock singers.
One of my favorite songs from him is "Cube", it shows a part of very wide singing range. He can sing very low notes as well as falsetto. Song that really rocks is "Redemption".
His vibrato is immediately recognizable. A link to Cube (live) with subtitles: ruclips.net/video/98mTmBktQdc/видео.html
A link to Redemption (live and from the the same concert) : ruclips.net/video/g8uxxVBHnw0/видео.html

"There is a music video for "Lullaby of the Desert.
The sub-zero stone stage is the perfect setting for the songs and songs of the Wagakki Band.
I would be happy if you could see the beautiful world that was filmed in the extreme cold.
    It is very, very beautiful.

Try to forget that the song has meaning and shes saying anything and just listen to it as if the voice is another instrument.
