So, I don't train with you, YET. But I've watched EVERY single one of your videos. I raced for a long time for Suzuki Amateur (grassroots program) and did everything I could to make it to your position. Which leads me to my main point: YOU HAVE THE BEST, MOST REALISTIC MC/SX channel on YT. We all know how amazingly talented you are, and how fast you are, and how blessed you are, and it just goes to show that 1/2 a second, 1 maybe 2 seconds per lap separate the podium from the rest. You're truly an inspiration to the sport, and to all your fans. I look forward to your videos EVERY day. Thank you for inspiring me to get back out on the track at 30 years old. You da man, Albert! I was there!! It was actually my very first supercross race that I’ve been to. It was such a damn good time. Good to see you out there AJ!! So glad Lawrence won it, but McAdoo was really making a battle of it for awhile. Such a great time

Lol I can relate on the start somewhat. I remember being at Ponca City nationals and my first ever good holeshot in B class, I couldn't see anyone in front of me and it freaked me out so I hesitated for half a second and someone clipped my rear tire sending me flying. Luckily I didn't get ran over.
After your performance in the heat race, I really thought you had a good shot at making the main out of the LCQ. After it was all said and done, I actually thought that you might not want to make the main. Is that possible? Maybe you don't feel that you have the fitness, endurance, and arm-pump resistance to make it through the main. Just a thought. Either way, you looked good while you were out there. I'm still hoping you see you on the starting line for the main before the season is finished.
I think I could’ve done well in a main on that track because I’m very consistent and I could ride the track at a casual pace, not make mistakes, and probably could’ve hung in there!! I’m excited for St Louis!

AJ, Does the AMA/FIM require that you run only aftermarket/off-the-shelf exhaust parts, or is that particular portion of the rules book open? Asking because exhaust fabrication is my bread and butter, and I've had a few ideas mulling around in my head.
No when I was watching qualifying there was a couple of riders with OEM exhaust. I’m sure there’s some specifications to meet. But hey that’s how all businesses start give it a shot brother
I think the only exhaust requirement in Supercross is sound. So it can't be over a certain level of -dB when on the rev limiter, although I don't know what number specifically.
The wild thing is if you would’ve just stuck to your line into the first turn instead of turning to avoid him, you would’ve missed Jett completely cause he just flew across the track, and you would’ve came out in a great spot to potentially finish top 9. Totally understand the natural reaction to avoid the chaos though. Better to do that than to potentially straight up merc the top rider in the 250 class. Lol.

I can't believe Jett came back to win a short heat race after going ass end over tea kettle on the start... he got slammed by that yamaha who decided that brakes and letting off the gas to hug the inside Is for quitters... he had that "cant not qualify for the main if you take everyone down on the start" mentallity lol
Could you imagine a world where you got your race and practice bike months before the season started.. you did your cardio every day.. and practice supercross every other day for 60 days.
Maybe next year! My business runs more autonomously every year, and we’re moving to FL in a couple months which will help too! 😁 I feel like over the next 3 years I can get quite fast again 👍🏼

It looks like you are on a practice lap sometimes when you are racing.. your qualifying times show that you have the speed already. You just protect yourself during the race.. surrounded by sketchy riding i understand. :) Enjoy every day man. It's all you get. Don't neglect your Wife in all this either. 👊
Bro, Probably no Definitely easier said than Done but all you had to do was follow Jet (once he did pass you back) lol Jet demolished that heat race and the main! But also Jet might owe for keeping everyone from running him over, some guy's not to mention names (Marchbanks,Barcia,Fresie - riders who have no chance of actually leaving a legacy in the sport) like to or at least seem like they like to ruin talented riders seasons and Jet might of had to deal with that if you weren't there to hold everyone off - even if it was subconscious you had Jet's back so atleast from me *Thank You*
The only thing you like is the mindset that you need the money from the main to get home. You are more concerned with being perfect in your technique than you are hungry. I would love to see what you are truly capable of. Stop thinking and start riding.
Yea it’s hard to fake a desperate mindset. When the time comes that I get to ride consistently I think that my aggression in races will happen. Racing on the weekends is tough when I only get 3 weeks pre-season then when the season starts my riding goes to almost zero 😢
