Personally I wore burgundy calf length doc martens to my prom along with a burgundy vintage 70s halter dress I thrifted for $9. At the time even my friends who liked the style and regularly wore converse with knee length skirts thought it was really daring of me to wear docs to prom with an ankle length dress so that my boots were fully visible at all times and not just when I picked up the skirt. I went to a high school in a small Texas town, a lot of the things my friends and I wore were considered "shocking" and "inappropriate" by the adults...which just made us want to do it even more, lol. High school was fun.

My husband and I wore customized wedding converse that said Mr. And Mrs. on the side and had our wedding date on it to our wedding ❤ I'm the same height as my husband and (while he doesn't care) I didn't want to tower over him in photos and the ceremony was outside on grass anyways. The groomsmen all wore grey converse to match my husband, and my bridesmaids wore white to match me. We were all comfy and we got a keepsake out of it too 😊

Every girl i saw at my senior prom wore combat boots, convers, doc martins or vans with their dress. There occasionally was someone with Birkenstocks, and I can count on one hand the number of people who actually wore dress shoes of any type. It’s a trend now.

Anyways here’s a brownie recipe,
Ingredients:
- 1 cup unsalted butter
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt

Every girl i saw at my senior prom wore combat boots, convers, doc martins or vans with their dress. There occasionally was someone with Birkenstocks, and I can count on one hand the number of people who actually wore dress shoes of any type. It’s a trend now.
