Ngl. When I realised who Mameo was my jaw dropped as it felt like it was my childhood character was in the game. When I realised I was about to fight him with this music Jesus it was like going back to the early 2000s. This game was the ultimate nostalgia game for me and this music along with that battle was the icing on the cake!
I only just recently discovered Next Order was a thing so I bought it immediately. I absolutely lost my mind when it opened up with Machinedramon and this theme, I've been wanting to relive the feeling of original Digimon World for years.
My exsperence was largely the same. In spite of this game's weird difficulty spikes and grindiness I'm still loving it so far. I'm only on my second generation of digimon.
Same man, nostalgia bomb went off! I couldn't believe I missed this game, soon as I heard about it I told the old crew and they also immediately bought it.
The fact that they remixed so many old themes from the old game makes me really appreciate this game. Still, it was a shock to realize the first story boss was the final boss of the first game, and still hard too.
This is why I loved the next order so much. It was the actual sequel to Digimon world. The music was even kept the same just modernized. This game and Cyber Sleuth are my shit lol.
As a fan of both Pokemon and Digimon, I realized that Mewtwo and Machinedramon have a lot in common. -Both were Artificially created -First of their kind (Machinedramon as the first Mega Level Digimon and Mewtwo the first Cloned Pokemon) -Were intended to be the strongest of their species (And to a degree, were successful) -Both have the Potential to be even Stronger Still (Mewtwo having Both it's Mega Evolutions and Machinedramon having Both Chaosdramon and Milleniummon branches for evolution) -They were Antagonists in their initial Debuts.
Star Blade It just goes to show you that when someone doesn't incline themselves to choose one over the other, you can learn some interesting trivia for both.
That's what I'm about. If I'm to chose between Mewtwo and Machinedramon, I think I'll take the Machinedramon - lesser chances of me getting killed, because the 'mon decided to get sad and start to disintegrate people. After all, the Machinedramon is not an insanely identitiy-obsessed powder keg with no grounding in reality, who will go apeshit and turn you bones into baking soda, if you mention his artificial origin or think, that he isn't the most powerful one. ruclips.net/video/U7eU_VnCFbk/видео.html - why the "powder keg".
I just got this game yesterday and my Phoenixmon and GaoGaomon(i can't spell his name sorry) got killed by the desert one, but they pulled a ExE moment became Imperialdramon FM and kicked his ass it was amazing
For those that don't know fully. This being the most highly hinted continuation of Digimon World 1 and Digimon World Card Battle. Anologman was artifically creating the "first mega level" digimon during that time. The core componets hints of it was Machindramon's piece mealing of Metalgreymon (Virus) (The experiment and hinted his blue skin is sorta rot) Skullgreymon (Is the internal skeleton and natural evolution into Machindramon). Metalmamemon, Andromon, Megadramon, Metaltyranomon. Each digimon was harvested for data as he was forcing digimon under slavery and made them go "wild" When machindramon was made it shows that his aim was to use these creatures to enter the real world and take over. Machindramon has the potential power of beyond normal of even basic mega level digimon as it stands. (yes he was downplayed in the anime but that was the same machindramon) He is still a dragon archtype digimon and Wargreymon has "advantageous anti dragon weaponry" Note that Machindramon is also a prototype itself and was further hinted that "Anologman" Might have been aiming to later create Kimeramon then fuse the 2 components together. Being Milleniumon is a transcending time and space digimon that's completely unstable. This being a digital verse it's most likely interlinked to the original stuff as well in technicality. Like the anime. Ryu's partner is indeed "Machindramon" and thats why in season 3 you will notice the extremely volatile nature of Cyberdramon. Also if you pay attention to "Justimon's weapons" He has the Psycho blaster of machindramon. And 2 other weapons from high class megadigimon. Milleniumon is Ryu's partner digimon. Anyways to topic. If Anologman is still about this is extremely "threatning" being he's one of the highest class hackers known. He outright is one of the most powerful digimon knowledge basis too. It would be cool to finnally see him as the most overarching villain of any digimon series and also explains ALL digimon hostility to "Anologs" aka Humans. It's mostly his fault to begin with. It's also under speculation that he's one of the "creators" of digimon itself.
Supporting this is the quote from Mugendramon's profile, calling it "the Digital World's strongest Digimon". Sure, it's been upstaged most notably by Chaosdramon, but at the time, it really was the strongest. Also, I feel like Ryo's Millenniummon is more of its own identity rather than the Mugendramon from the show, but that's another story.
Can we not link the anime and games together.... also mugendramon wasn't the first ultimate, if you want to pull that then herculeskabuterimon takes the cake...this headcanon stuff gets too cheesy for my taste.
I feel the theme (both this and the original)?hit harder in the Back Dimension and other unexpected Mugendramon encounters than the end boss. The reason being that those encounters are unexpected, you suddenly find yourself facing down the most powerful Digimon in existence, and are in a fight for your life. The new beginning of the song really emphasizes how absolutely fu3ked you are.
Anyone who played the original will of felt beyond nostalgic when they heard this! Took me back too 2000. This game is how too make people feel like a kid again was amazing. Hoping they produce more digi world games even a remake of 3 would be awesome!
@@GhaniKeSawah yeah it probably won't, though it would be a great way to advertise the new game and get eyes on the franchise after how long its been dormant in the states. Also Bandai Namco is helping so you think they try but who knows.
My only disappointments with this music 1. It's only played during beginning tutorial/Chapter 1 2. There was no Chaosdramon post-game super boss to fight to this music
DoctorDong It plays in _every_ machinedramon fight, both during the story and in both repeatable end-game fights (Dimensional dungeon and Titamon's highest challenge). It also becomes part of the final boss music.
He was a Mega before megas were even invented. It totally makes sense as he was a cornerstone that enforced such a drastic change to the whole digimon evolution process, and this new game didn't even weaken him, he's as insanely overpowered as he needed to be and it's glorious.
@@Srab23 I still hate the fact that the English localization of “Machinedramon” makes it sound like it’s just a damn robot. This thing has infinite power. Infinite! It’s literally called “infinitydramon” in Japan FFS! (Because you know, Mugen means infinity and all that.)
Pronouncing it like machine-dra-mon sounded to me like a corruption of "machine dragon", which is basically what Machinedramon is. Metal Seadramon - "metal sea dragon", and so on. Machine-dray-mon always sounded weird/inconsistent to my ears compared to the other "dragon" digimon.
Just can't beat the original version, most likely fanboyism on my part. One of the first games I ever played and that theme will forever be in my mind as the true "Badass final boss about to smack you into oblivion" theme. Infinity songs had this old time digital/metallic sound to them, and I love it yet nearly no songs to date still have that sound)
I like the drum. But there is too many weird sounds going on. Can clean it up a bit and make it heavier with the heavy metal guitar. Stronger bass would be good.
This theme goes so hard. And the fact that this was from a Ps1 game originally is amazing to me. Like, it’s the fact that digimon hasn’t just now gone this hard, but that it always has, that is reason enough to be a digimon fan. (Also if you all don’t know much about Machinedramon, and what this absolute cybernetic unit is capable of, I highly encourage you to look into it a little bit. He’s not much of a looker, but man is this giant spooky robot chimera a menace.)
Well that's fine and dandy but I prefer this one because it's longer. The PS1 version was short so it looped a lot, and it gets tiring hearing the same part of the song over and over and over again

The theme that lives rent free in my head every time I slam down a Machinedramon in the Digimon TCG.
I had exactly this 3 years ago! I'm so happy you got to have to same experience I had 😁 the Ogremon music is a remix of the original too 😉

Ok...who let Koei Techmo get into recording room?
I think a better question is "why didn't they let them in sooner?". xD
The fact that they pronounced it as "Machinedraymon" in this game makes me irrationally upset.
