    If you went from stock pipes to 2-1, you most likely need a tune for that. I’m buying the same pipe, just on the fence about black or SS finish. They have upgraded bag supports now. You may have the older style, contact S&S as I believe they are doing an exchange. Couldn’t hear the exhaust well as I think your mic was inside your full helmet. Let us know how u like the sound difference after u install the DB cap.

      So this is the 50 state legal one.
      I have a new video I just made with a different mic location so it’ll be raw exhaust sounds.
      S&S doesn’t have the brackets made for the elites or pursuits with electronic shock. They said they are working on it but can’t give me a time frame and o got tired of waiting to ride my bike so I modified their bracket and it works fine now

    What tune are you running for this exhaust? Any check engine lights come on yet?

    Have never been runoff the road since I’ve put pipes on every bike I’ve ever had if they can hear you, they look for you instead of running into you. I’ve proved it to myself so many times through the years. you must be a new rider.. You have to explain everything to yourself evidently you’d rather let your speakers keep people away. How’s that work out for you when you pull up to people at an intersection everybody looks at you like you’re a joke when they hear a lumpy lump exhaust they all look and they usually say nice bike. And stare at you until you ride off with a smile on their face thumbs up!!!

    • @justjae706
      @justjae706  3 месяца назад

      I’ve been riding all my life. Every single bike I have had has had an exhaust. That doesn’t keep people from not paying attention lol I’ve been merged into and or cut off countless times. Being observant keeps you from getting hit. Pipes may help a little but ultimately, people don’t pay attention and don’t care about bikers anymore

      @@justjae706 not trying to cause a ruckus I’m just telling you what my experiences I don’t know what kind of rider you are so I don’t see where there’s any equal yet. didn’t know what would happen until it did and it continues. It’s always been like this. they used to run me off the road, then I chase him down and kick the mirror off the car stop in front of them and they were scared to death to get out of their car many times many times. I haven’t had to do that since I’ve had pipes, if you have a crotch rocket, which I have had many, you won’t get the same kind of sound as the rumble that shakes your car makes you look at it!!

      @@WilliamHellin nah you’re good dude. Different people have different experiences. All depends on where you live.
      I’ve had sport bikes. This is my first bagger and honestly idling isn’t loud at all haha

      @@justjae706 thank you sir not a lot of people respond positively. Thanks again. I’ve had different bikes like yourself in the past four years. I bought 2 Different Rd. glides. I still have a Yamaha Vmax. That’s a really fun bike and you still get to sit up on it not a crotch rocket. I also had an 06 Suzuki Hayabusa,. That’s extremely fun put pipes on everything. Make some run better and get better mileage and people usually stare at you until you’re out of sight that doesn’t take long on those bikes. But these big old baggers there are a lot different, I’m 65 and it feels like I’m riding grandpa‘s old fat tire bicycle. What I found is their (fund )to build into something that will rip the tire off but it’ll never go real fast. You don’t wanna be on something like that to go that fast, I’m sure you’ve found out the same, I’m not looking for looks but people look at Harleys a lot way past my age. All of us sport bike riders wave at each other most of the time. Harley riders wave at each other just the same in their own way. It’s just the way it is lol! Used to ride in Chicago, all over Illinois Wisconsin, Michigan, then I moved to Arizona in 79. This is where I get runoff the road out here on bikes that don’t make noise. I only got ran off the road once in Wisconsin, but it did the most damage. Goes with the territory, I guess we just find out how it is wherever we are like you said. What I noticed different about these Harleys is people in cars wave at you trucks wave at you tractors also and other Harley riders. some sport bike riders. anyways, still having fun like you. never did get into physical sports, but was always a gearhead still am. Forgot to say I still have a old 71 Kawasaki 500 Triple Rd. bike. It was the two-stroke 500 that could wipe off any 1000 cc that came near. It sounded like a pack of bumblebee chasing you with the expansion chambers on it. I don’t know where you are, but it seems like you’d be fun to go for a ride with. Catch you later. on that Kawasaki you’re right it rips. The only thing about that bike is he can’t keep the front tire on the ground. It don’t matter how far forward you lean, it’s still comes up, you just have to point it and go hope for the best lol, later.
