Just to give the answear before i watch it, her damage can be as big as Dr. Ratio, but it's locked behind her resurgence passive, and that requires her to kill an enemy. But because even the enemy mobs are tanky now, she can't one shot them, which means she can't access the full damage of her kit yet.
Her single target damage per cycle is second to Dr. Ratio. If there are 1 boss and 1 fodder, she can close the gap. If there are 2 mobs, she surpasses Ratio.
Or use her Ulti.
Thus pairing her with Tingyun is great.
@@jinminchoi838Haven’t used or looked into him but must ask are we sure she competes when most things are too tanky to one shot unless you’re ulting the smaller beetles on that world boss? I just need better relics I know but it’s hard to picture when my Acheron out the box with half investment hit harder and she’s not even on her BiS yet she’s on quantum set.

@@jinminchoi838 but even then she only has more damage for that turn. next turn the fodder will be dead and she wont get the buffs and she can only get them in the first place if she can oneshot the small enemy.
@@Sparkofshurima Most of the time she should one shot the boss with resurgence + skill + ultimate, you don't need another one.
Resurgence basically fixed her issue of being a Hunt character since release. Hunt characters problem is that they're single target oriented and from the start of the game and you're clearing mobs from the beginning anyways. Seele basically made Belobog story a pushover. She's done her part, now she stays as one of the DPSes that players have used, but will be used less as they pull newer DPSes
Yeah but with the new endgame content coming out, seele will not be at the top of the Meta in endgame because she is too broad.

As a die hard seele main, I'd say shes a jack of all trades but not a master of none. There are plenty of scenarios where when used right she absolutely stomps. I still tend to finish her MoC 12 in 1-2 cycles and 40k PF with her but i cant deny that both the ceiling and floor are being raised to no fault of her own
Yep her floor dmg being lower than lot other newer dps def make her perform bad for most playerbase.
Only few who know how and can speedtune properly, skilled player, with high relic investment (not gacha investment, as she is still cheapest 0 cycler out there) can do great thing with her.
So yea most ppl just prefer other units.
There is a reason why Seele always stays at s tier(She has decreased to a but that was when the PF buffs had nearly no affect on seele) on the Prydwen tier list(Probably the most used tier list). I try to get to MOC 12 but only having lynx as your sustain with a half built gepard and fire trailblazer doesn't do so well at sustaining lol.
I feel like people forget that one of Seele advantage is she super fast
The more recent clear with Seele you see that she take 2-3 actions per turn even though her damage is around 80k-150k

The problem is Seele only reaches her max damage after she kills an enemy, and optimally you want her to be one shooting small mobs and then hit the big one with resurgence. If she does that then sure she is really good. But the problem is: if your build is already good enough to be one shoting mobs even in moc12 then there is no reason to play seele over anyone else. She does the same if not less damage as other dps for 10x the investment.
i still think she's one of the best because she's been able to 0 cycle every MOC since release; similarly get max points in every pure fiction regardless of how much a disadvantage pure fiction is for her.

Thats the thing she isn’t weak but you have to really invest into her and her team comp in order to get her to that state but when she is able to do her thing she pops off but thats only for the really lucky or sweaty
thing is, PF isn't really bad for her tho. It's basically some bosses and a bunch of weak lil' shits - meaning she can nuke them and then bitch slap the bosses. So she's not COMPLETELY out of her element in PF at all.

You say "disadvantage", but realistically, she's the only hunt character that can even hyper carry pure fiction.

Once the hunt propaganda mode arrives, hunt characters, especially seele, will see their growth in usage rate and efficiency.
But dhil and acheron are still a blight to damage dealers cause they clear everything.
The Fua teams of Topaz,Dr Ratio,Aventurine, and Robin will dominated this mode

Nah lowkey ratio and boothill especially will absolutely dominate both dhil and acheron at this new gamemode no doubt in my mind you gotta remember the damage numbers you see from them are spread across mutiple enemies on single target they mostly hit in the 250k range which both ratio and boothill easily clearing
Im pretty sure the new game mode is bosses (single target) so if there arent trash mobs with em then seele still falling tf off

"Pure Fiction is a test of endurance." But is a mode that is restricted to 4 cycles, no matter what, and many top teams forgo sustain. Has to have been a better way to put this
Yeah PF is more like a test of whether or not if you can fight a mob without compromising your ability to kill the boss. The clock is still there, and they're increasingly including more enemies that are intended to be speed bumps to sweepers.
I'd like to argue that Seele is one of the most consistent 40k clearer on Pure fiction with a sustain to boot. This is the 5th time Seele clears a Pure fiction at E0S1.
Day 1 seele main, f2p, and I can say she still kicks it with the newer dps units IF you’ve invested enough into her. She’s arguably the most relic reliant unit in the game, which is probably what comes with being the first ever dps released for the game, and I wouldn’t recommend pulling for her on a rerun unless you’re willing to get as close to perfect relics for her. But if you do, it’s like she never saw a dip in production at all
I farmed more relics for her than everyone else put together, and somehow she's like my 5th best character in terms of relic score. it's so infuriating how bad I am at getting quantum relics =(

That's my main issue with her. Needs really high investment. I'm 79/178. With Fu Xuan, Seele gets up to 91 crit rate or so. The 91 crit rate is not felt with her ult. Feels like she misses the crit more than the 1/10 chance she should. Need to spend more time farming relics for her. @JaXander9
@@miguelpina96 my mantra is if it’s not 100% crit rate it’s 50%. With fu xuan and e0s1 sparkle my seele’s at 99.6% crit rate, I made sure that crit was hitting every time LMAO

I love Seele and I love using her. She’s not my favourite character (that honour currently goes to Topaz), but The Bronya, Seele combo works really well for me whenever I feel the need to use it. I won’t ever bench her if I can help it.
the more people say Seele is obsolete, the less I want to bench her.
There's a few issues with the analysis that often comes up when people are arguing against Seele:
- 5:15 Seele is not as SP negative in PF. Use her basic attack instead of her skill to finish off kills. The damage is lower, energy gain is less, but if you can finish off smaller enemies with the basic, it's worth conserving the SP and can also help speed up rotations slightly as Sparkle's 50% AV push is sometimes not enough to make Seele act immediately.
- 7:02 Seele's ult for Resurgence uptime is not as restrictive as it seems if paired with Tingyun. In a boss fight, Seele can maintain fairly high Resurgence uptime if played properly alongside Tingyun's ult battery. Additionally, Seele can be played in such a way that her ult provides 2 turns of Resurgence, not just 1, by activating the ult after Seele's turn has started. She gets Resurgence buff, but it does not tick down because her turn has already started, leading to a 2-turn uptime on Resurgence.
Seele was my first limited 5* (I joined during her rerun) and she carried my ass during the early game.
Then I started to get closer to where things like MoC and the like became relevant and I started investing in other characters that I feel more of an attachment to. I didn't really mind her, her arch with bronya was quite nice to watch, and having gotten a bronya from the beginner banner kind of obligated me to pull for her but at the same time she wasn't exactly someone who I cared too much about.
What definetly killed her for me was Doctor Ratio.
I to this day still have so much fun playing this guy and I overall like his kit a lot more than Seele's (in terms of personal enjoyment). At that point when thinking about opportunity cost I simply went with him instead of her.
So basically it's not even really her fault that I stopped using her. Maybe I will take her of the shelf again some day but right now other characters are taking priority.
However the time I had with this character during the early game was still one that I enjoyed so I wonder how folks who did invest into her are doing now in endgame

Exactly 😂, I don't have a clue what star rail players grade characters on anymore. They'll say Ruan Mei is the best character cause you can put her on any team but a dps that can 0 cycle MoC 12 and 40k pure fiction 4 is "overrated" and "fell off"
I dont even know any dps who can 40k every PF and 0 cycle every MoC at with similar team cost investment (minus relic lol).
Prob selee still only one who can, def not JL and IL as they both worse than selee in PF. Acheron maybe can but she is new shining dps that kinda "powercreep" everyone else and she still only 40k 2 PF snd 0 cycle 1 MoC, while selee already done it since 1.0.

@@invertbrid no one else can, Seele's consistently been the best for 0 cycling at e0s0 in every MoC (except against Avent and maybe Meme). She can 0 cycle Sam more cheaply than Acheron can.
There's a huge discrepancy between her perception and her performance under the hands of the best players.

Seele doesn't spam skill to clear PF. She mixes basics because one of her talents give her additional action advance. It's entirely possible/almost necessary to be SP neutral with Seele in PF. She can also get extra turns per cycle from just her own high speed and action forward on basic attack. And it is entirely still possible to kill mobs with basic attack in PF. Until something *drastically* changes, Seele will still be a monster in PF.
She's only straightforward in concept--actually getting the maximum value out of her is actually difficult in execution. Seele hasn't fallen off at all.
This video exists only because people are switching to easier use units like Acheron, who just does unnecessary amounts of dmg.
Saying Seele is straightforward is an absolutely delusional take, she's the most complex character to play in the game (not a high bar, but still)

Nope. Seele sometimes needs to basic attack to action advance by 20% which can be mixed in with stuff like ddd, sparkle or other low action advances to boost her turns.

Not to be "that guy" but Seele is one of very few characters who can 0 cycle the most recent Pure Fiction stage 4
She is still strong, its just the game doesn't cater for her anymore. This is more of a case of feature creep than power creep tbh. She is still good imo for doing Scarab weekly boss and is alright in some other modes, but in general the idea that she has vanished from the meta is only apparent if you completely forget that she still deals some of the highest damage in the game.
Sadly Hunt characters need a mode catered to them like Erudition got Pure fiction, maybe Hunt characters can get a boss rush mode or something.
It's sad bcs she was a monster during launch. Yeah especially since there r leaks of upcoming fua supports and debuffers (not Jade bcs she focus on AoE I think), Acheron and Ratio would just get better and better. I know she is good in mono quantum but Fua team does more dmg and is very fun. In Pure fiction, I could just use the free e6 herta instead of Seele and get higher points. She is not an S tier unit anymore but still a solid dps.

@@yammoto148yeah even the current pf favors fua, she is in a tough spot especially since there r upcoming fua supports and debuffers, they're just gonna keep increasing Acheron and Ratio's value. I also read Jade's kit, it's still too early to assume but it seems like she doesn't work with Seele but we can see later on beta.

The one thing that makes seela unique is her disturbing high speed, which is baked into her kit. If jade can someone make that even better plus slapping enemies to make it easier for seela to get resurgence that might be saving grace but then the question is who do you replace in the mono quantum if you don't want to run a glass canon?
For quantum weak enemies, or if they’re squishy enough, Silver wolf can be swapped

i think overall Seele has definitely shifted down as preferred DPS for many players, but imo she’s still a perfectly fine at her role - especially so for day one players who pulled her and therefore have had time to invest into her really well
plus there’s that new Apocalyptic Shadow endgame mode coming in the 2.3 patch… perhaps this mode will be more well-suited for her and other Hunt characters similar to how Erudition characters perform best in Pure Fiction ?
I don't think Seele will be able to excel in this mode while other hunt characters definitely will. The main issue with hunt characters is that their kit is single target focused. Seele's kit is the broadest and most reliable for the whole game. But this comes with the price of her inability to specifically excel in any endgame content.
@@Loppedofflemons I think that's an advantage now more than a disadvantage, though. The problem is scoring bare minimum in some pieces of content (30k in PF, 5-cycle clear in MOC) is starting to become near-impossible for some of the units that are better than her in one specific piece of content. Namely, Dr. Ratio can't do much about PF, Jingliu is falling behind with averages of 25k in PF, DHIL is still holding in there for PF but only at E2 so he can act more frequently, and Argenti is starting to struggle in MoC. I don't expect Boothill to keep up in PF, either. The problem then becomes, if I pull a unit and kit them out with a high-investment crit build, would I rather do it on a unit that can only score in 1 mode, or a unit that may be a bit lower in both modes but can score in both? I'd take the latter.
@@fredxu99 Im saying that Seele is one of the most expensive characters to invest because of her inability to increase her crit(VERY important for DPS). Most players in HSR look more at MOC since Herta is the undeniable best character at PF(which you get e6 for free). A lot of PF can be easily beaten by using 4 star characters because of how much more simpler it can be than something like MOC. I just find that Seele will be stretched too thin between all these gamemodes that she will be unable to reach the top of the meta, even with mono quantum(Qingque is prefered more because she can do QingQillion dmg in one attack),

its hard to compete with titans like Acheron, Jingliu, and DHIL and even harder now that other limited hunts like Dr Ratio (yes technically he was free, but now he's limited) and Boothill are gonna be out, both of whom will probably find better homes in the current and shifting meta.
She was my first 5* I pulled way back in the infancy of game, so she's a nice relic of nostalgia for me and a reminder of how far the game has come in just a year. Even if I mostly use Dr. Ratio now.
Qingque was the most interesting dps character since launch to me, which in turn made Seele a very easy skip and I've never looked back since
If we're going to be honest the bar isn't too high right now for Hunt but hey she has one of the best Lightcones in the game like seriously it's really good

I was able to 40k the last 2 PFs (not the latest, but the 2 before the latest one) with e0s0 Seele with e0s0 supports (+ e6 tingyun). She's still among the best, even if she's not the strongest DPS in the game anymore. She really excels in content that she's able to make use of her resurgence mechanic via basic attacks. I remember one of the previous PFs, I was at 7 sp pretty consistently because I was using 3-4 basic attacks for every skill use and killing with each basic attack (skill only for maintaining speed buff), so I was able to run my s3 DDD on tingyun, and give sparkle past and future instead.
Dang, one-shooting every enemy with Seele there. I’m guessing attack was used as the core stat for each relic right?

It’s safe to say though since Seele the S Tier category has seen massive changes making it hard to group them together. She’s far from bad but Jingliu and the effortless Acheron may as well have started the SS rank like Nikke tier list

S tier? Hell no. Would you put her up to Acheron, JL, DHIL? She's more A or B tier. Best Quantum DPS? Sure. Depends if you have Sparkle for both of them then I guess they're both interchangeable.
Agree. She is def worse overall than JL IL acheron. But selee is the only dps who can do 0 cycle MoC and 40k score PF in EVERY patch so far for year, thats saying something.

I played at launch for about a month and came back at the start of sparkle's banner. In 1.0 I got Seele and loved her, but I wasn't around long enough to get silverwolf. Now I'm still trying to make her work, saving to get fu xuan, having sparkle and hoping for a silver wolf rerun soon which will level her up a lot, it feels quite sad to have my quite cope Acheron team with Pela Gui and Gepard 1 cycle the floors I'm at currently in MOC while having Seele take 5 or more cycles most of the time. I hope getting the optimal mono quantum team will bring Seele at least close to my Acherons level and allow her to Brute force through some floors with SW, but at this point I've also just considered benching her until she gets a good MOC and building other teams :/
You don't need SW, just use Tingyun if you have her (if you don't, try to get her! she is insane), she is way better with DDD for Seele and most teams. Seele + Tingyun + Fuxuan + Sparkle is my go team and performs better.
Hard part of selee most her relic investment, once u got good stats pne her, she slaps

@@darksplash873 hmm debatable, as u see only selee can reach 0 cycle every MoC and 40k every PF so far while i dont see any single dps can do that. Maybe acheron can so far, but selee already doing it for whole year.
Selee arguably get more benefit from strong relics compared to other units, especially JL coz her floor dmg already so high with lot self buffs.
SW is awful with Seele and honestly probably harmed Seele's reputation quite a bit

my friend got 40k with hypercarry E0 seele in PF a month ago so idk about that lol
fair enough with claim that she has higher ceiling but kind of hard to get to, the thing is that you can usually play around that, in PF just use SP positive supports like in case of my friend she used pela, tingyun and sparkle, then seele can jump around as much as she wants
in a real single target scenario tingyun is also really good for her, because she can ult more often that means she can prock her resurgence more often even if she doesnt get resets, which is why i think she's somehow kind of underrated in single target despite being a hunt character, the main thing that resets do is make up for "wasted" turns used to get rid of extra mobs, but when there's no mobs to get rid of then you dont need to make up for it because your full attention is focused on the boss, and yeah sure you lose some energy but that's it, people act as if with resets she's attacking the boss twice as often, well no that's not what happens if half of your attacks are going towards extra mobs
I think some points have been overlook when talking asbout Seele. Her spd and speed mechanics on her kit such as speed increases and turn advancement on basic makes her make up not only for resurgence but by doing many turns naturally as well. That can bej ustified that other units like Bronya and Sparkle can enable that to other DPS, and its true but this is a 'floor' mechanic that she has naturally, and its quite important, since speed is still the name of this game.
Also, Sparkle did boosted a lot of other DPS but her innate extra boost to quantum favours Seele more than others and also raise her floor and ceiling a little bit more than the others.
All these little pushes here and there is what keep seele very consistently still.
Seele has proven to be the best 0 cycler in the game at E0S0 (comparable to or better than Acheron). I'm not pulling this out of my ass - Seele has the cheapest 0 cycles of any DPS for every MoC before the current one. Watch Xolze's content if you don't believe Seele can perform this well (they've been banned in most HSR communities due to personal behavior but that doesn't take away from what they've shown Seele can do).
Seele is by far the most underrated character in this game nowadays and honestly one of the most underrated characters I've seen in any video game I've played.
She was a monster at launch but this game current situation just favors AoE and FuA. Plus the only future units (including leaked characters that only their kit were leaked) that seems to work for her is Robin, but she is a lot better in FuA teams too. They just keep increasing Acheron and Ratio's value. Plus they can be played in duo dps teams while Seele can't so I could see why people prefer them more than her. Plus upcoming characters other than DPS are gonna be debuffers and FuA supports.

@@27Ganonyeah but I doubt people would pull for her on her rerun except if they really like her or want her lc, her eidolons are pretty bad and Ratio is free so I could see if her banner sales went lower. With these upcoming units, his and Acheron's team are gonna get more flexible meanwhile the only future unit that seems to work with Seele is Robin.

Seele is basically the best dps that i don't recommend getting nowaday, if u already have her and built her well enough, then yes she can still compete with other top tier Dps at similar investment in most contents, if u DIDN'T have her or haven't build her yet then it's better to stay that way unless ur desperate for a Quantum dps (which Qingque can fill nicely enough), she just take too much investments and actual "skill" to reach similar ceilings of the likes of Acheron, Dhil, Jingliu.
She can still reliably clear most PF and MoC for me, so i never regret pulling for her, plus quantum set is op af , a lot of my dps are still using 4 pc Quantum leftover from when i farm for Seele
Facts + based I personally think shes still a very good damage dealer hitting comparable numbers to current top tiers but to get her to that state she needs to be well invest 70/200 crit ratio minimum and with at least sparkle/bronya so if you domt have her or her best supports do not get her but if you have all that she’ll still pop off extremely well

My E0S0 Seele with 2900 ATK, and 82/198 CR/CD FULL SET perform nothing remotely close to my E0S0 Acheron even with Bronya and Tingyun buff. She also perform similar level to my shitty 66/150 DHIL with Bronya and once Sparkle is involved she's not even in the same ballpark as DHIL. I'm not talking about damage per screenshoot, I'm talking about DPT (Damage per Turn)
To put it simply if you can hit 70/200 crit ratio ANY of the new DPS even the 4* can dish out comparable if not better DPT than Seele. Alternatively you can also say with similar level of investment most new unit just blow Seele out of the water. It is what it is, I also have 3.9k atk 66/200 crit ratio E0S1 Clara and she can't T0 MoC,, not all DPS are build the same.

@@zerovking7629 I'm arguing that good stat doesn't make Seele "comparable" to the newer DPS. It's the signature LC that separate between 3 turn and 0 turn MoC or 40k and 28k at PF. 132 speed, 2,9k atk 82/198 Crit ratio is almost as good as E0S0 can get and it's performing similar to my half assed 50/100 Acheron with shitty light cones. When something that took half a year to build only give you as much output as piece of junk you put together in 1 week then it's just plain bad investment.
What I'm criticizing is that you keep saying that with good investment Seele can be good but what you downplaying is that with similar level of investment even 4* like Qinque and Xueyi can be as good, while most 5* will just blow her out of water. You basically said "She's pretty good" without any benchmark, which is meaningless.
Which led to a simple conclusion : Seele is underpowered.
I am more comfortable playing Seele than Jingliu even though I have them both on E0S1. Although Jingliu has a really good Blast dmg she's a bit slow compared to Seele and easily falls off against ice res characters especially when I have no E4 Pela at that time, Seele on the other hand is saved by her QUA res pen to be able to brute anything, that's why I able to 40K the PF3 and 31K on Auto the PF4 because of how good her penetration is.
Find it baffling how Seele's Quantum RES PEN is hardly ever mentioned, but that's probably because it's locked behind Resurgence?
Anyway, I also used Seele for previous and current PF phases, and I can vouch for that. It's somehow really fun strategizing even if it takes many minutes to finish one half. The feeling of being a grim reaper and ending mobs one by one is fantastic, not gonna lie.
@@hilo01 Her Ult gives her access to that buff, so use every support that can give her turns or Energy without the use of Resurgence, she can pop off easily and brute force anything.

I started playing HSR on April 29 last year, near the release of the game, I was on the Seele hype train and she was really awesome and really fun at the time, then "Our General" released, the real crime being he was more powercrept but also more indirectly buffed overtime, can't say the same for poor Seele..
I use her since 1st banner till i get Acheron. I love her playstile and hope she will be ok in new endgame mode.

I have a feeling that she would have been the best dps if her talent was like killing enemies would grant Resurgences, but from the second turn consume 5% max hp of teammates upto 20/30% of Seele's attack. Although it's like Jingliu,but she would become insanely good in 5 enemies like Himeko and Herta making her the best dps in MOC and PF.

If you refer to a higher damage as power creep then basically every new dps will power creep almost every other dps but power creep should be used when both dps has the same use cases and supports and eas of use like jingliu and yanqing for example and even tho jingliu power crept him he is still competing and aventurine increased the eas of using yanqing but not directly buffing him . In conclusion the dps is only one peice of the puzzle and you need to collect the supports in order to make them stronger for example jingliu and blade got a big buff with ruan mei as the other supports didn't do much for them as they mostly buff attack although she buffed everyone else they were affected the most due to lack of good options for them and every new support will inrease the damage celling either generally or for a specific team comp like how robin is good but she is better in FUA teams.

my account needs help. im not sure why but my dr ratio only hits like 5k damage and my seelie hits 50ks everywhere but Ive been stuck on the starcrusher swarm king story boss since the quest came out.
You can build 2 piece FuA and 2 piece pioneer on him, use ATK boots, get at least 3k atk. You are good to go with Pela and Tingyun, Pela with Luka LC will be a lot better but can still work if you don't have it, then you should get at least 70k. You can also use Danheng's 4 star lc if you don't have that herta shop lc.
About that boss, try using 2 sustains, it will be slow but you can beat it. I used Pela, welt, lynx and Natasha and beat it in one try.
Edit: I don't recommend fire mc but Lynx can aoe cleanse with ult and Natasha can cleanse with her skill, so you're good to go.
I hope the devs make a support for Seele that can make a clone/clones of the enemy to easily access her Resurgence against elites or bosses that dont spawn mobs. Kinda like Illaoi from LoL.
The clone can have a percentage hp pool of the original and once a clone is killed, it redirects a percentage of the dmg back at the main target.
The idea and concept already exists, just depends when they plan to execute it.
A support like this can also help Erudition. Example spawning 5 clones leans more towards helping Seele getting Resurgence but the dmg being redirected is smaller where as Erudition units benefit more from hitting multiple clones, Destruction can also benefit but much lesser compared to Erudition since the path is usually restricted to 3 targets. Just a concept i hope to see the Devs implement one day.
Oh my God, I'm praying to every Aeon that clone mechanic is implemented into a kit of a char. I'd 100% pull that char.
It reminds me of Fenrir from Tower of Fantasy - difference is, the clone of an enemy she makes is unkillable.

Nothing? Seele is still insane and has been getting buffed by recent units. Seele launched with the game and has still not fallen off and is good in every single piece of content the game has launched so far.
i have been playing on and off since the games release and i always felt seele was more of a placeholder than anything else since her extra attack relies on her getting the last hit on something but then not being able to chain the effect for a good sweep
While I do agree with you to some degree, I don't think you have look hard enough into the situation. Starting from version 1.2 forward to late 2.0/start of 2.1, the MoC line up has not been kind to Seele and just quantum unit in general as there hasn't been a specific floor design for it while Hoyo keep spamming ice floor for Jingliu. About Seele sp economy, you can just spam her basic attack if you can or are running low on sp. Its action forward property would just bring her back a lot more often than you would think
In every RUclips video I've seen recently, her Ultimate hits like a truck. She's still going to be relevant for type coverage until a new Quantum comes out.

Honestly i could see the case of Acheron being a one off example. Acheron is a Mei expy with clearly a LOT put into her, so it would be suprising if they were to keep it up.
Bronya even still has use, as they seemed to be careful not to DIRECTLY powercreep her, but created more of a sidegrade. Basically i just wonder if hoyoverse plays favorites when it comes to some units considering the strength of some and seele was just unlucky (even silverwolf has a niche, despite being less used due to the blast meta, she still provides the biggest debuffs for single target scenarios)

I thinks it’s actually super easy to give her her own support. Just make a support who buffs characters who act twice in a row (and make it stack). Yes, every other dps can use it (whether it be with follow-ups or just using their ult, but they won’t benefit nearly as much as this non-ice type Pokémon (get it bc Seel is just a water type)).
Support idea: Fire Harmony
Talent “Encore”- Buffing an ally (or allies) additionally grants x% damage bonus. Bonus is increased whenever the ally attacks immediately afterward.
Skill “Break a Leg”- Increases an ally’s speed and atk
Ult “Star of the Show”- Grants Spotlight to one ally and Ensemble to all allies. Spotlight grants the unit 1 free use of their skill without using a skill point on their next turn. After Spotlight is used, the ally’s action is advanced forward by 100%. Ensemble grants an x% damage bonus.
A1 “Thesbian Charm”- Whenever this unit uses an ability, there is a 25% chance to restore 1 Skill Point.
A2 “The Show Must Go On”- CC debuff resistance
A3 “Triple Threat”- Skill also grants crit damage.
Or you could have the unit based more on turning a unit’s speed into buffs instead of just the random stuff.
I also think that would be an interesting video series idea: Making the best, most niche supporting unit for a specific DPS

I... luckily grabbed her on the first roll of her with Clara (she came first, so lost 50/50 and won instantly)... And then got her LC after a while. She is probably my cornerstone in Mono Quantum teams and i dont see her fall off.... unless Hoyoverse launches another Quantum Hunt unit...

umm, before watching it, I'd say that shes kind of useless if she can't 1-shot enemies, and they turned most enemies into giant hp sponges.
Not really.if we look at 0 cycles , Seele is still the only unit that can do it with a 1 cost team. Not Acheron, not DHIL and not JL. She can also 0 cycle both MoC and PF. Something other dps units struggle to do, even Acheron. Overall she is still arguably the best 0 cycler at high level play. What changed is that for low level play, units like dhil jl and acheron are better than her.
This mostly. Until now there is still no unit who can 40k every PF and 0 cycle every MoC, let alone with same investment as selee (not relic lol).
For ppl who have great relics and support, she will perform amazing. But for more average players who have mediocre relics, she will perform worse vs JL IL acheron.

Yeah, I'm also in the mindset that newer limited DPSes (and 5* in general) are for the sake of comfiness.
Seele has always been usable, but it's somewhat hard to master her playstyle to achieve high damage, what with her built-in self-advance stuff in her kit. That said, I'm falling in love again with her gameplay, and I'll try to rebuild her even when I have Qingque as my Quantum DPS.

They just need to release a Support character with a jacked-up version of that one Hunt Blessing in Simulated Universe where characters who act consecutively get a damage boost

Seele's Eidolons are trash, E6 Seele is barely better than E0. E0S0 Seele has repeatedly proven to be the cheapest 0 cycler in the game for every MoC except the latest one (see Bilibili for receipts).
What happened to her is what happened to all hunt characters she got powercreept by destruction units who equal levels of single target dmg but still have aoe capabilities
I think that seele might get a 2 life with release of new hunt focused gamemode in 2.3. But it will depend on how much enemies there will be. If only boss wihout summons will occur then she will fall off and will be on similar level of other old hunt characters.
I'll tell you what happened, I got mediocre relics for her ages ago and still haven't got decent ones, so I use my other dps for now.
with the release of robin in a way seele benefits alot next to either dot or follow up because of the fact that robin advances everyone's action forward allowing seele to be able to get even more dmg and turns in the same cycle so robin is a good choice to run with seele but i think she will last for a long time she still have one of the strongest if not THE strongest talent of her Path to compensate being a hunt unit idk what do you think?
I think Sellee really resembles Diluc in genshin where she's the one-stop shop for everything in the early game, but gets outclassed by better specified / simply higher damage (read: Hu Tao/Acheron) until she becomes an OG unit

She's far more similar to Childe - Seele still has the cheapest 0 cycles in the game at E0S0 but requires high investment (both in herself and her team) and needs to be played well.
People don't believe in her ceiling for some reason, but she outperformed even Acheron against Sam in terms of ease of 0 cycling (this has been proven by clears on Bilibili)
I still use her regularly, but relegated to the secondary team since Kafka and friends are just too good. I dont really use FuA at all (yet) but that and/or Jade seem to be a pretty big threat to my seele usage moving forward, though.
To be honest, when playing with archeron i realised not just her but every single character has some serious downplay when it comes to meta, dan heng requires a lot of SP, which in several scenarios can even bypass sparkle's ult, jingliu is honestly very self sustaining which can be controlled by using healers since she eats hp of pther people sp i have no complaint
Archeron however her ult is severely dependent on how consistently the enemies are getting debuffs so unless you have a dedicated nihility team her ult is difficult to achieve with only E0
Seele comes in same category but since i literally have all the mono quantum characters I am on a smooth sail since once silver wolf acts against a boss its checkmate for single bosses and i enjoy every moment of it🗿

The thing which keeps seele truly in competition is sparkle's ability which increases attack for quantum units exclusive, her sig artifact set which is still the strongest set in my opinion, and the sheer value her sig lightcone gives, which can go all the way to 100% crit value+ extra dmg increase at S1 which is wild💀
I hate how OP acheron is. She basically makes me feel bad for having Jing Yuan as my answer to the current MoC or previous Pure Fiction. They legit made me struggle so hard to get all stars that it was just frustrating.

Dropped her the second Kafka came out and never looked back.
Getting Seele on both my EU and US account told me that I needed to use her.
She was good while it lasted let’s not lie she did her job let’s respect that
- In MoC she is solid, but the tendency is for her to fall further and further behind as even the fodder starts to have too much life for her to kill in one hit.
- In PF she is carried by the ability to attack multiple times in the same turn, since otherwise she would be unusable there.
- Everything indicates that this new game mode, like PF, will be super biased towards new characters and Break META, so I don't see her doing very well there without the best supports and a lot of investment.
She can still 0 cycle every MoC and 40k PF so far, but yea if the HP buff keep continues, prob will end up bad for her eventually.

Got her on week 1 of the game, sadly she's is kinda meh atm because I don't have her LC(was outta jades for her rerun), but she's still very powerful especially when teamed with Sparkle. Can't wait for her next rerun so I can max her potential
When the game first launched, I knew that seele would be completely powercrept by the nature of the game and her kit. I really didnt want to pull her, but I needed to farm the jades and her value as an investment to skip the next few dps banners was good enough to warrant obtaining her. At the time, I lost my first limited 50/50 to himeko, my cheap banner to himeko, and my standard banner to the absolute garbage that is TWFNO. Seele was the only consistently usable unit for the first few patches. As the trash mobs kept getting more hp, seele needed higher and higher base stats to function and she just got more annoying to use.
