i agree with you on almost every point except i do think Holden is depressed. That's not inherently a bad thing though, he just needs someone to help him!

Catcher in the rye helped me through a really tough time in my life when I was dealing with thoughts of depression and suicide. It was and still is one my favourite books and I honestly love how you incorporated the story into animation. Plus, your art style is absolute eye candy and I adore the colours ❤️
