No question, the best bead storage system are the “Bead Storage Solutions” trays! I’m always surprised by how much they hold and I can see everything at a glance!
Hi patti, How are you & everyone at Fire Mountain Gems and Beads.? God bless you all. Love this video, and yes, it is very helpful. I enjoy all of the videos at Fire Mountains Beads and Gems 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉❤😃🤩
I just went and ordered the pliers display from FMG. Didn't see a link to them in this video, but found them fairly easily. They are listed under Storage, not under Pliers. We were asked for suggestions. A large fishing tackle box works well if you are taking a long trip and want all the bead supplies you need stored together. Fishing tackle boxes are siliamr to red 4-drawer rack shown in the video
Opps! Hit return prematurely. And, I found the product links under the video. Back to fishing tackles boxes. Fishing tackle boxes are similar to red 4-drawer rack shown in the video, except they have a medium-sized tool box on the top. The organizers can hold your findings and beads, then the top compartment can hold a number of spools and tools. Depending on the size, you may even be able to fit a small bead board in there. FMG has at least a couple of fishing tackle boxes, and they are readily available not only from stores that cater to people who fish, but also at any major store that sells tools and small hardware parts. Be careful to check the dimensions carefully -- a lot of them look the same in online pictures, no matter whether they are small, medium, or large. Larger ones start at about $50. There are pink versions aimed at female crafters, but you'll generally pay a substantial "pink tax."
I have designed and purchased the materials to build a Victorian dentist-style cabinet. I am a glass painter, iron fabricator, and cabinet maker for over 45 years, I am teaching myself jewelry making as well as stone and gem working. I knew I would need something to keep everything in order. After I make a prototype for myself, I will manufacture others upon request. The unit will have several glass doors to a shelved space at the top, Below that will be an open shelf made of marble or granit, below that will be a section divided into three sections side by side two will hold between 12 to 18 shallow drawers, that will be dividable or hold plastic compartment trays. The other will be 2 or 3 large squarish drawers to hold tools. Below these will be a split section that will hold 6 drawers. The wood I purchased already is a very hard dense exotic wood from Cameroon, The ones after this will be made of this wood from Cameroon, or Ipe, a less expensive cabinet will be manufactured out of Mahogany. Every piece of wood will be solid wood, the only laminated wood will be the bottoms of drawers.
