I had forgotten about Tom Waits by 1999,.....knew he was still out there. When Mule Variations came out, I was at my job, where a bunch of artists all worked, myself included. We were allowed to play the stereo, while we were being creative. We mostly did picture framing,....it paid the rent. Mule Variations was being played in its entirety on a PBS channel. We were mesmerized by the music, and shortly after I got the CD. Ever since then I tried to say current with his music,........and I re-reviewed all his past albums. You Tube was instrumental in my getting to listen to all his music, once again.

In 1999, Tom was 50 years old. He was born in 1949,....and in 2019, he just turned 70.

Entertaining, like everything that has anything to do with Tom Waits! Thanks for the upload! It's definitely a difference listen to Mr. Waits interviews nowadays and the ones about 30 years ago. Probably it helped him to have small parts in movies, because his wit and his knowledge has been there, but did not seem to appear right! Well, thats at least my opinion. :)

After you hear this, you want to find the motel he stayed in, and the actual bureau.
