I'm glad to see you back. I had to catch up with all the stage 3 games. 🎉

I always hear "pro sports" as "bro sports" and "strategy" as "astrology".

I don't really get floating the Civil Action at 49:00. Why not just take Opera? Isn't 7 CA enough to not worry about handspace and while Opera will most likely not be used, it could still be a slight upgrade in culture production if the game goes towards a completely peaceful mode.

ok, I guess you talk about that a little bit afterwards :D

I'd say Operas are quite more costly to research and build without much of addition to outcome, especially with Bach. There are usually more important things to do in age 3. Plus he also mentioned later that he wanted Goudi to stay at 2CA for Flakk. Also he really had full hand in age 3, so one more card would be a difference. (But I probably would take it as well "just in case" , lol )

If you had an extra Civil Action at 44:30, would you consider destroying a farm to destroy a farm and build a Knight? 4 culture for a yellow token + some shuffling around (building the farm again next turn) sounds like a good deal

I think it´s definitely something to at least consider, but a tough decision to make. The problem is, that with building the knight, there won´t be enough resources left to finish the Ocean Liner at the next turn while also rebuilding the farm, resulting in an additional famine turn. With that I think it might be too costly to go for that line. If there would be enough resources for the rebuild, then I think it´s a closer decision.

Who's your favorite leader & why? I don't really know anything about this game but I enjoy your videos 🙏.

      Thanks for your comment!
Good question! I don´t really have one specific leader that I would claim is my clear favourite. I think early in the game science is quite important which is why I like Confucius and Boudica quite a lot. In age I I like Saladin because having an additional CA is often just so useful, but also Barbarossa I have very high on my list as you gain a lot of value from him if you manage to build up your military with him instead of doing it normally.
In age II Newton and Maria Theresa are two leaders that I like quite a lot as it is possible to extract a lot of economical value out of them to go into age III with a strong economy. In age III it depends a lot on how the civilisation is looking that you have built up to this point. If you have arenas Pierre can be very strong. I like having booming economies late in the game, so games with having Bill Gates or Marie Curie are often fun to play.
At some point I might do a tier list video about the leaders and wonders.

I always valued Ocean Liner and Harvard high but after watching your video's for some time now, it's almost logical you won this one considering you got them both. The fact that OLS allows a player to just go to age 4 and only build 1 bronze A farm is so incredibly powerful.
Well played, Healingaura not taking pyramid at the start is very disputable. Ofcourse Akropolis has it's moments but if you have the choice, I cannot see why you would value Akropolis over Pyramids in this game.
