All Italian songs were great the last years, but this one had the most ENERGY. If you have hugely talented, 21-year old performers on stage, who play to a sickening beat (You cannot help to headbang...), quintessential voice (A little bit of Eros Ramazotti crossed with Arctic Monkeys maybe ?), inspirational female bass player, deafening sound of the drums, guitar, bass - so sharp, and finally charisma all over, and confidence. They could have recited the phone book, they would have won :-) They are what we all wanted to be at that age, but were not.... they can live in the moment and enjoy their emotions.
Absolutely love your reaction! I've been following Måneskin since San Remo and i absolulety love them ! When the results where announced I felt like a very proud Italian even though I'm greek !
We agree this was long overdue. Italy should have won years ago. I am not fan of this song but you are owed this win. And the show will be incredible fellow neighbors.
I have seen many RUclips commentators from all over the world move their heads up and down to the rhythm of bass, drums and electric guitar of this band of very young boys from Rome who started their careers as simple buskers ... The Maneskin deserve to travel the world to do live concerts!
I have an italian friend and I messaged him a couple of days after to competition to congratulate him and gush how much I loved the song and he was like 'what, we won eurovision?' and I was like 'duuuude what?' and he was all 'yeah well nobody watches eurovision in italy' and I was just 'O.o' Is this true? Incomprehensible to me as an Icelander, our viewing rates for eurovision are something like 90%....
I really liked the guitar, I love rock music but I didn’t like the singing at some parts to be honest. I mostly love rock influenced music not too hard core. Like Queen pop/rock or Hua Chenyu
