FINALLLLLLYYYY Ive been waiting for this song to hit youtube forever. Great song, used to sit on my dads lap on a rocking chair as a child listening to this song
This album was a favorite bootleg tape bought in Jakarta c. 1981, and this is a standout track. I will have to look up the other version that's been mentioned
Originally recorded by the songwriter, Dennis Linde. It's sort of country rock -- of course, MM totally changed it! I have both versions in my MM playlist. Thanks for the upload!
This song is great when you are higher than a kite on good weed, hash, mushrooms or LSD. I'm sure the band had this in mind when they recorded this. Listen on a good stereo for maximum effect. We were all degenerates back in 1980!
Listen really really carefully to the first 10 seconds of the song. Very distant in the background there is a music box, or something similar, playing.
Da waren Manfred Mann und seine Leute noch ganz toll!
Love the band, love the song… And to my ears this is the best Steve Waller vocal on a Manfred track….
Do like Steve's vocals on this and the other MMEB tracks he sang on.
FINALLLLLLYYYY

Brings me back to 1981... Actually it's "Hello This Is Your Heart" (as you can hear). Misprint on CD (re)release.
"Chance" ist die geilste Scheibe von M.M.
