Did Larry Keel go on-stage with The Courthouse Ramblers at Galax Old Fiddlers Convention in 1991? ...They played a "real old-time song"... Steam Powered Aero Plane ...but probably had too many folks on-stage to compete anyway, even if they did win the peoples' choice award. Crowd favorites are guaranteed losers in Galax... and the place was roaring. :-D
