Two points: 1. The private investors are the banks who shorted the stock at the note issuance in March to get a better price which resulted in 72M shares instead of 60M. After the deal closed, it’s in those investor’s interest to pump up the price hence all these new analysts upgrades in the past 10 days.
2) There will be $60M a year savings from the reduction of interest from the deal of 12.5% to now 1.25% which will go strait to revenue bottom line.
Lastly 4 more quarters of profitability will make SoFi eligible for the S&P500 after which it will really take off.

Earnings could go either way. I honestly doubt the company will show profit for the first time and sense everyone expecting it the stock may drop. Everything else probably will be positive

It would be amazing if we can get over 9.50 this earnings..... i see 12 next earnings i still think this earnings will pump the sell off 1 last time hopefully hold 8 or 7.80 atlesst.. going back to 6.80 is demoralizing
I know right. Each time it looks like the last time but each time it pulls back anyways. But now that SoFi has turned profitable it should make the difference. Then the fact that the goodwill impairment made the last earnings look bad BUT that wont happen again should have an impact too!
I agree. Pump and dump on earnings and pump huge again on AGM. Pump to 9.5, dump to 8-8.5, the. Pump to 11-12
In your opinion whats a good entry price on sofi right now?
I know it might sound clichéd but right now. Look at SoFi over the past year since May2023 any time it has dropped below $7 its been snapped up. I think anything $7-$8 is great, but that just my opinion. Other people on RUclips and Twitter seem to think it will go down, Wedbush even say $3 (lol) - But then there is plenty of people saying the stock could 3x or more in the near future. Latest Analyst rating are suggesting 2x.
I think this is a great price, but that's not advise. Just my opinion
@RealPaulThomas I respect it. Maybe they just want it to come down to buy it up. 7 seems like a decent price to me. I can definitely see this reaching at least 14$. I'll be keeping and eye out. Thanks again.
