I got questions. A. When were they divorced? B. What happened to min huyn? C.did the king ever marry D. Did the queen? E. So neither of them had kids? F. So what was the point of not marrying if all their enemies were dead. .....im starting to realize its best to stick with certain recap channels. Either tell the whole story or not at all.
This is based on a history so the Director will stick to the history. Chae kyung and Lee jeuk never had a child. The king has a 2nd queen and Chae kyung never married again.
A. After 7 days of the prince becoming the king B. I would have to rewatch to remember C. Yes the king married and had kids D. No the deposed queen did not remarry( can't really do that in those days); E. The king had kids with his new Queen F. The Dowager queen basically said it was not a good look and it would ruin his reign( because his brother was relentlessly pursuing her as well; political plots, ect....) also if you get rid of the enemies the other political parties can use the queen as a tool to cause more bloodshed or force her to death( that was the next plan). I might be rusty because I watched this years ago. But it's a common trope about the political parties. Also at the end of the drama they got to spend time together, but she had to wait till the dowager queen died. Which made me think afterwards that despite the dowager being dissatisfied with her she was protecting her life in a way. There are many dramas showing Yeonsangun's parent's life the one I liked the most is Queen Insoo/ Insu, The Queen Mother. All in all, I enjoyed both Sageuks.
So many crocodile tears in this drama...i have no sympathy for the queen. How could she betray someone who was there for her for so many years ? For a guy she knew for a little while when they were kids? Even i was hurt 😅
Awaken 2020 pls
