Great video would’ve loved you to keep showing the different modes selected on the LCD screen display before explaining the modes.. just a comment not a critic hood video sir
+Selene Miranda Hi Selene. I'm glad you liked the video. I made the camera strap- I didn't buy it. So many people have asked me about the camera strap that I've decided to start selling them. I'm just finishing up the design so that the end straps and clasps look really nice. Stay tuned. When I launch my Patreon I will begin selling these on that site.
Im trying to get answers for an specific question: What are the flashing modes? there’s three, im guessing one is NO FLASH, automatic flash, but there’s a third one with a flash icon + an eye icon, what does it mean? Thanks
Hi JD. I talk about how to use a light meter a lot with my TL70 series, You can check out my "Mastering the Meter" video for a little more information on how to meter by eye. Also, If you follow me on IG (@RobHammPhoto) then you will see images and settings posted as reference sets for all different kinds of lighting situations. I like F8 in the shade and ND8+F8 in the direct sun. Cheers!
Great video, if you don't have the option of using an external flash, is there ever any other situations where you don't use the flash on the camera? I'm always getting terrible flashback, how do you combat this?
+Mehvish Rehman I pretty much always use flash outdoors when it's sunny. Not so much when. It's overcast. Getting around the flashback is easy. Position reflective subjects as to not create more reflections. Also, use a diffuser, like the mag mod shell or light sphere dome. Those should help a lot. Cheers.
Robert Hamm thanks! Yeah I was looking for a flash diffuser but couldn't find any that fitted on the Instax mini 90, I've had a look at the ones you suggested but they seem quite big. Sorry I'm being terrible
Instax needs a lot of light. You may not have the shutter open long enough. Try holding it longer or adding light with a strobe. Use a tripod. Good luck.
@@BrendanRivera96 I did kinda get used to it. The simple trick, is take the picture without looking. Takes a lot of practice. But yeah you will get along. Just keep using, and take pictures free hand with reference to where the lens is.
Dude all the videos you have are of you talking but you never actually the camera doing what you're saying and it's like why watch a video of a dude talking forever about and never actually demonstrating anything he's talking about onscreen. Waste of storage space
Put your money where your mouth is. Go make a video and post it here. I won't hold my breath. Big lips flapping on a keyboard but no nuts to do anything about it. That's all you've got.
2023 and I appreciate this video! Just picked up a mini 90, so excited to start shooting!
Thanks for watching and commenting. I'm glad you found it helpful.
Thanks! Im new to photography and never even considered the needs or abilities of the camera lol of course a point and shoot has a range to shoot in 😅
Thank you so much for the in depth review! I've been saving for this camera & I'm super excited to start shooting with it!

Download the manual! It's free and will explain the specific question you are asking.
great content as usual. Could you please make a video how to use a light meter with an instant camera (preferably neo or lomo glass) Thanks!

Hello, when I use blub mode in low light I only get black photos... :((

Should I buy it?
That's up to you. I like mine.
I'm having some trouble centering the pictures i take. The frame i shoot at isn't the frame i get in output. How do i overcome this?
Did you ever find the answer to this?
