His music is very beautiful and unique...I'm patting myself on the back that I introduced you to Gregory Lemarchal and AnnenMayKantereit, and Deyaz lol, and now, you've got me exploring an artist I'd never heard of before! Your channel is a wonderful two-way street! (PS... One thing I'm learning ((I'm an old!! guy, so takes me a while!)) is not just to name a song of an artist I request you to listen to, but to specify which actual performance also. Personally, I prefer and will try to request from now on the video performances where one can see the artist sing and perform a song, rather than just a static lyric video, unless that's all there is of a particular song...e.g... I put down on your request list that you please do Gregory Lemarchal's ...Et Maintenant...again, but the actual video of his performing it, to watch his face and body movements during his performance. I read up that that song is about people losing someone important to them in their lives (due to death), which makes the song even more powerful.)

(died in 1915)...She wrote over 7000 hymns, many still sung today like..Blessed Assurance and..To God be the Glory...But, unfortunately, no video of her performing or anything, but in this case...the message is the most important thing..what a lady she was! (Wonder if anyone has even heard of her? Well, now some of your audience will soon learn about her)
Jeff is known for his falsetto and his tone changes. Might I recommend his songs "Ghost" and "Yellow Leaf". The videos are connected as a part 1 and 2. Make sure the subtitles are on though cause both songs are in Thai.
So, this song is from a Thai BL Series called KinnPorche, in which Jeff has a role. When you were describing what you think the lyrics meant, basically you just described the underlying theme of the whole series. 😁
I have watched most if not all of WDYS reaction. It is my first intro to Jeff courtesy of the wild popular Thai BL series “KinnPorsche” that he was part of and which he wrote and composed this OST WDYS. His fandom known as Sats (play on his last name) call this song our anthem. I love your reaction, on point what the series was about. Aside from how amazing of a singer, composer and writer, producer and actor Jeff is, what I admire and love him for is his message. And your message reminded me of Jeff as well. Which is self love and if you need support he is there to remind you that he loves and cares about you. And when you need it, do the Saturn hug (butterfly hug) again play on his last name. He considers himself to be like the planet Saturn and the ring around Saturn are us, protecting, hugging and loving him. You should check out his live performances, it is simply outstanding. A true singer.

I agree with you. I prefer to see the artist perform, because there is much more to music than the words and sound.
