I said that the game doesn't focus too much on fanservice, but it does have a clothing damage mechanic, so yeah. I forgot to talk about that. Nothing too major. Just some ripped clothes if the enemy get enough hits in.
I'm surprised most of the lighting is baked including the shadows. Adding shadow maps or RT shadows would of done wonders to the image as well as lots of shadow casting lights. SSR would also help a lot to add reflections in areas that would be appro[riate. There's a lot they could do to improve the image massively without loosing the visual style they were going for
*First time playing it* Me: "Is La Viada some sort of fanservice character? (I knew she wasn't; it was just a fashion joke) *The game reveals that she's a ranged attacker* Me: "Well, think i've found my favourite character then!" (Tend to prefer ranged attacks because they get the job done quicker)
Btw, i love you bring audio to the discussion, not only about the quality of the conpositions, but the mixing and madtering as well. Its somone i always consider when getting into a game.
Yep - I am playing the first game now, and like it. It was already bought a while ago, but I never got around to play it to the end (blame GUST for Atelier Sophie2 and Blue Reflection: Second Light, and Falcom for Trails of Cold Steel IV on PC). I have bought this second game already, so I have a follow-up. I know for sure I am going to play this second game once I have finished the first.
I haven't finished the first game, so I didn't buy this one. I am waiting for a less busy time and maybe wait for a sale before I grab this game. I fell like the game is a little overpriced imo, otherwise I usually support a game made by fellow Taiwanese developers.

wait, will there also be an uncensored pc version?
@@cpubigdipper9145 I don't think there is a censored version. All versions are the same from what I heard.
@@Noisemaze1 oh, ok
It's no Pure Onyx
@@webslinger325 onyx?

I've never heard of this game but it looks decent and swimsuit dlc is always a good sign, definitely grabbing this next steam sale.

Whoa, I'd never even heard of this game before. Looks neat!
Yes! Good for you - if you want to talk about the music issues with the CD, please do!
I dunno why, but I thought Dusk Diver was something completely different. I definitely wanna try out both games
I love these games. I wish they sold all the stuff in the press box. That bowl looks really nice.
Weird how the contents of the Day One Edition are essentially exactly the same except the US got a softcover artbook while Europe has a hardcover.
We also got a spicy poster lol.
Ah, wow I totally forgot about this game. Last I heard the outfits of some characters were censored?
Props to idea factory! Thanks for the review

Same here, it's better to support Taiwanese games that aren't woke or have apparent virtue signaling like detention and devotion.
Really unsure, if I shall buy it. And if I do, I have the 1st on Switch and would like the 2nd on Switch as well, but PS5 indeed looks better, damn.
I'm dont know about this game util today
thx for the recomendation,👍👍👍
Played it on switch, got around 20-25 fps not recommended
I did not know they made a second to this game. Loved the first one.
This looks like scarlet nexus
Speaking of, is that ever coming to Switch?
@@SpectreStatus is possible, after seeing Nier coming to switch anything is possible haha
