Nice. I’ve been at magnolia beach for about a week headed to corpus this weekend we we’re gonna go down to paddle but I’ll be honest, beach camping after a while gets tiring!!

Not too sure when you filmed this but just wondering how the new inlet by mile 19 is? Also is the crossing to the bay side at the cut accessible? Haven’t seen anyone post pics or videos on any platforms of East cut. There’s been no updates on the dredging project anywhere. It was projected to be complete next month. Does anyone have info? Would greatly appreciate it!
Wow so you can actually make it to the east cut again? I thought the last storm made it almost impossible to get there.
There was that new cut that would stop you from getting there but we didn’t see it on the way up. Basically back to normal

In this video we are half a mile south of the East Cut jetties. Anywhere past Access 6 is nice!

Would you recommend a 4x2 Tacoma on this trail and beach? I want to take my family down there before summer hits.
In the summer time, the entrance is plowed pretty well so any car go in. If you cruise out there during low tide you’ll definitely be fine but you get closer to the soft sand, you will get stuck. I recommend that y’all don’t get past mile 7 or so

I’ve been wanting to take my truck out to the island, but I’ve heard it’s tough driving a manual on sand. Is that true? It doesn’t seem like it in this vid lol
It can get hairy when high tide is up. Was just there last weekend and I saw an f250 stuck. My pickup had no issues on the high tide
I take my 5spd Tacoma to PINS all the time, its no biggie. If you feel like you're getting bogged down throw it in Low. Also air down. You'll be fine, have fun!
