Good news Tom, they just made poison and burn stack in an update today!

Awesome. I was playing this the other day and was annoyed that they didn't.
@@jaycobobob Had burn stack up to 78 per tick earlier, I've only gotten Poison up to 10 per tick.
@@AhranMaoDante In any game with stacking dots, effectively means you need high attack speed application. Don't know much about this game specifically, but if the attacks that apply it can't attack fast, they will always be bad.
@@Lordborgman I get that. But it's not that Poison weapons are worse at applying stacks than Burn weapons, rather every stack deals 1 damage.
The 10 damage per tick was with 10 stacks. The 74 Burn was with 7 stacks
Testing later, with a Burn stack of 19, it was dealing 198 per tick.

Someone pointed out to me that this game looks like Skylanders, and now I just think of it as some kind of hardcore Skylanders map. I do appreciate all the work that went into the design for this game, as a lot of this genre seems to lean on 8-bit/low poly, so it's nice to see a more "pretty" version.

They could also make it so that poisoned enemies take more damage from your other weapons. I think that may be fun
Curse does that already.
Only tip I can think to give Tom to help with mid run gameplay is to kill the bone huts that spawn skellies, the spawned skellies didn’t drop any exp

I do agree, far far better if the poison stacked, but for me I do enjoy a poison build, makes up for my bad aiming XD
From the looks of it with poison doing such little damage but constantly ticking there's either going to be a character that specializes in poison and does extra damage or it just poisons a lot faster like the damage hits twice as fast or something or there's going to be a character where everything that's not poison takes twice as long to activate so instead of waiting one second every attack it's two seconds every attack or there's an item that'll do that so you have to rely on poison to just whittle creatures down who knows there might be something that makes poison hit like five times faster so it might be like a minigun of poison five damage every quarter of a second
I've been playing a lot of this game thanks to you. I'd be curious to see what your upgrade path looks like in a future vid if you feel like sharing.
Instantly picking up the chests when they drop is inefficient. I leave one or two lying around so I can come back to them for a guaranteed infusion later.

Honestly yeah, the poison doing the small ticks and the electric pool one and other just *small* damage weapons even if they're an area aren't comparable to the energy bolt that just shoots through several enemies and is 100+ damage.
Balance like that is always strange to me.

The poison Aura weapon is decent at dealing with trash mobs, but other than that yeah poison sucks in this game

Wanna make the terrible mistake of playing Dota 2? Out of the three friends who dragged me in 5 years ago one has raged quit to play dark souls, one doesn’t play games and the other has not progressed in rank at all.
Personally I’m below average in rank got my 50% win rate not to long ago tho.

From the part of your audience that play this games... It's obvious that someone else plays and unlocks stuff for you. And in this game your assistant probably cheat engined all upgrades, because with those 3 weapons, to do the damage you did, damage must be upgraded at max. Also, to get to where you are, and not know the things you must know, because you have to encounter them in the process of getting to where you are in the game, suggests that someone else got you there. And this goes for all the bullet heaven games you've played.

@@dr9660Just so you don't burn me at the stake :) I love Tom, his humor, and very much enjoy almost every one of his videos. I just feel a little bit annoyed when he's deeper in a game and doesn't know basic things. If you played this game, Rogue Genesia, Holo Cure, Runic, Brotato... it would have been obvious to you too.
