Congrats on almost 100k! A tip for the TDC Mod when shooting torpedoes, if you unlock from the target, bring up the torpedoes firing section, and relock onto the target, you can fire torpedoes even without all of the values set.
12:40 You can't open the torpedo panel because you have to unlock the target, open the torpedo panel, select the green light to enable the tdc, then lock the target...in this way the torpedo panel will stay open even without having put the data in the vanilla UI
33:55 : instead of manually dragging the water in the menu, you can also click on the little water icon in the bottom left on the compartment and the crew will empty the compartment.
Nobody actually works the engines, though, there should be a guy on each engine throttle to carry out engine telegraph orders, like in SH5; I'd like to see that, it shouldn't be hard to introduce another crew animation.
Same here. My grandfather lost half a kidney and kept on fighting the russians. He stayed with some others even after his bataillon capitulated to protect women and children from the rape/kill retaliation. Married on of those women later and died 10 years after the war because of that shot. This generation was very different to todays.
I was playing uboat the other day and found a 32 boat convoy with an aircraft carrier and 11 ASW boats, absolutely rekt the merchants and aircraft carrier, and got away clean
Engineers can get a skill that increases their pre-heat timer. I've certainly enjoyed the schedule UI that allows me to set shifts, so I often have enough well-rested crew. I even keep my radio/hydrophone operator not assigned to work and only manually use him when needed. So its great they added the hydrophone check button. =P I've had to dive under 160 and damaged my pumps in order to avoid the DD screen before (did some test reloads to see how good their detection is. =O Something to note, you'll see the crates floating in the water you can loot... but if you use time compression they will sink rapidly. If you go to normal speed they start to float... slowly. So if you want to loot the crates, don't use time compression. xD That C3 was... extremely tanky. I couldn't see its HP bar due to youtube compression so i was thinking it was bugged.

Night time surface attacks (pre 42-43) are utterly overpowered, expended my entire torpedo stores on a convoy harassed by wolfpacks by only attacking at night, and staying surfaced no matter what, even if detected. The escorts can't detect you with hydro if you are on the surface, and they don't have the radar to find you either, so it's pure mark 1 eyeball.
Well thats pretty realistic. One time a uboat was in the midst of a fleet surfaced and undetected. Then a sailor lit a cig without permission on deck but that helped them because they saw the uboat now
I have fond memories if SH3 and surfacing at pointblank range to a C2 and shooting out its only gun deck. Hopefully we can do something similar in U-Boat down the road. I like the RTB button, though I wish it had an "are you sure" pop-up. I clicked it by accident when I meant to board a neutral freighter and ended my patrol early.

Usual in bed watching on my 32in telly but tonight watched on my 55in telly. I thought this game looked good before but on 55in its amazing. The gameplay, the chat and the graphics, excellent....👍👍👍
Hey Wolfpack, in case you did not know, I wanted to warn you about the Sinking Physics overhaul mod. It makes Tankers VERY / nearly impossible to sink. The mod authors know this, and they don't know when it will be fixed, if ever. It is still possible to sink a tanker, as I have done it, but only really by getting lucky and having the ship break in half. Though with your creative editing and some console commands, It probably wouldnt be an issue.
Free tip from one Kaluen to another whenever you crash dive always set your boat on a slow gradual turn, me personally I do this an usually aim myself at the convoy, it's a tad dangerous because I'm usually risking sliding under the destroyers but if you make it under them an into the convoy their ability to attack you becomes limited.

U were shoting ap rounds at an unarmord target (C3 Cargo) so shells will just sip right through without doing much dmg guess that's why it survived that long. With HE u would have prob do lot more dmg
@@Ezio2310c Your second comment seemed to imply that he only used AP rounds, not HE, when he used 15 HE and 23 AP, with the crew abandoning ship after he had used 19. So 40% of the shells used where HE.

32: In real life your boat would be safe from the deck guns on the C3 because the gun crews can not get to the mountings with the deck so tilted over and cannot load the shells. I know this because as a gunner on a WW2 type destroyer I've slid across the deck (standing up) and was grabbed as I slid by (thanks chief).

How wolfgang attacks work in this game. Every time they message to meet at location and they start their own game. And also when we say them to attack a ship they just go around it and torpedo after a long time. If there are destroyers then it's a different headache bcoz no one dares to enter into convoy and their presence is always detected even when I am cruising inside convoys. Game has a lot of glitches.

There are mods available to lengthen the time that torpedos stay warmed up. I think it's pretty reasonable to use those.

You never checked the Dispersion Box on the TDC (you set the spread only-but never to Spread) that is why the TP's were so close when hitting.......
