Now after watching Tuna's video my dog is still dead, my wife has still left me, I'm still horribly depressed and I'm still losing hair but now I can farm revs without being super stressed. you could also bring a dragon spear and spear someone when they melee you. that buys you a couple seconds per special attack and only requires one inventory slot.
I honestly feel like the avarice is not a great option for trips this short. I use a salve at north revs, and it takes me at least 30 mins to fill up my looting bag. I risk under 2m and I only rarely get attacked because of it. In the rare occasions I do get attacked, I'm at north revs, so pkers aren't on normals, so I just run south and get away without issue. I can tank crystal+virtus relatively consistently, but again, those kinds of people won't attack someone in 2m risk.
As a pker and pvmer this is pretty solid advice. If I were a pker trying to combat this hopping I'd gear up with fire surge and a heavy ballista. Bally can still hit pretty high through prayer. On my iron though I still just safespot the knights.
It doesn't seem like you can use the agility shortcut to stay out of melee range. When you're entangled, you can't use the shortcut. Not sure if this is a recent update.
Any tips I can get on how to get sharper with the prayer switches and the eats? Just got caught out with a PKer and I wasnt good enough to hop the shotcut fast enough and got wrecked by melee. Was also very difficult with knowing when to switch prayers between magic and ranged, always was 1 atk late. Thanks for any tips you can offer me, because losing on a few mill per death is a hard pill to swallow.
It’s just practise, I recommend firstly changing your prayer and inventory tab to F keys or alternative keys on your keyboard so you can navigate to them without clicking your mouse. Once you start getting used to that it’s really just practise, maybe try last man standing, that will definitely help you improve
"Dinh's Bulwark" It's arguably the Best Tanker (high defensive stats/bonuses) In all of OSRS. It requires 75defence, but that alone will negate 60% of all none magical incoming DPS even off prayer, Plus if you remain unskulled you will always keep it upon death!! If you are someone who is infact skulled though regularly in Revenant Caves? ... Then simply keep your protect item prayer on literally at all times! It literally takes about 40 minutes for 99 Prayer to deplete fully down to 0% Pryayer Points just to give you an example of how slowly it drains your prayer! So if you have say ... 52 prayer? that's 15 + whole minutes before needing to take 1 or 2 sips of a Prayer Potion!! Also some advice if you are unskulled too? If you use Melee while in the Revenant Caves? Throw on the 3 item set of full "Justicier" armor too. Justiciar has a (set Bonus) which not only is amazing tank gear all around, but it will also keep you at high HP at all times due to drastically reducing majority of incoming NPCDPS as well! Hope this tid-bit of advice/Info will prove to be useful/helpful for you in the coming days. GL out there bud! =) ---- Boda ----

Because the Revenant Caves Is no longer a "Multi-Combat-Zone" anymore! Meaning that you can no longer get dog-piled by a dozen players all in 1 game tick lol. Revenant Caves is now officially an area technically known as a "Singles + Zone". What is this? What it basically means is that Only a single PKer can ever be hitting you at any given time. The plus? This part comes in meaning that even while you the PVMer are being engaged in combat with an NPC that a single player can also still engage you in combat as well. Removing any possibility of you the PVMer "Boxing" an NPC which used to prevent any player/PKer from hopping on you while in combat with an NPC. Hope this helps a bit. =)

Right click prayer interface tab > enable prayer reordering > click and drag to move prayers around > disable prayer reordering
Should take veng's too this causes them to eat and prevents extra attacks
RIP this method as of today 9/20/23 you can no longer jump the gap after you are frozen so this method doesn't work as well as it used too.
