This. Putting Lingsha on my Super Break team and adding Gallagher back to Acheron. Because right now, all I really have are Gallagher and a badly-built Bailou as Sustains.
I have enough pulls for several units, what’s stopping me from getting more is how incredibly slow it is to level character traces to the max in this game, not to mention the relic farming afterwards, feels like I’m never gonna catch up. I’ll just hold on until the two teams I have now are well built.
Thats a very good idea, you need time in Honkai, i startet with 1.0 and have 3 very strong teams, but the last Team just finished 2 Weeks ago, of course i had also some breaks from Honkao for couple of months in between, but still, you need time in Honkai, but thats not a bad thing in my opinion, just enjoy it^^

At that time, Pela was more than enough for her, and there was no sign that Acheron would need to be reliant on a new 5* debuffer like Jiaoqiu to the point where he is a must if you want to have the same experience clearing content just like when she was newly released, yet here we are. Similarly, THerta will inevitably need to pull her dedicated support to have a better time surviving in future versions eventually.
Yeah, but for The Herta, she can use harmony even at E0. So her teamcomp would be her+erudition+harmony+sustain, while Acheron needs two other nihility units before E2 - meaning less buff thanks to the lack of harmony character.
@@Nothing_Else3006 Harmony's buff isn't Acheron's problem, it's the consistency of debuff stacks for her Ult energy. But THerta's team flexibility really feels better compared to her.

My takeaway is I can probably skip THerta's Light Cone and just pull her, since I have Jade already, then save for going all in on Mydei. Might have to give up on THerta if I lose the 50/50 on her so I can get guaranteed Mydei+LC. (I already lost 50/50 last time I went for a LC) Though if Amphoreus' first patch doesn't fill my stash up I might just skip THerta so I don't have to worry about Mydei. She's cool but I don't want to miss any of the hot guys coming up.
It's unfortunate that you said The Herta doesn't suffer the Jiaoqiu syndrome before Tribbie kit crumbles come out. I'd argue that in the future using Tribbie with her will be more necesary, just like acheron all 4 stars teammates worked and now kinda doesn't.
I can see what you mean, but what i was aiming at was that how much tribbie affects her later doesnt affect her value in 3.0’s context. Tribbie could not exist and THerta would still be good, I am doubtful that THerta in the future will feel like a jiaoqiu-less acheron, although in the end its mostly just baseless future speculation on how bad powercreep will get from here
Don't think she will suffer from thr same issue cause herta can still make use of other harmony and rememberance supports. The Jiaoqiu issue is solely because he is the only AOE limited debuffer, and acheron can't use harmony at E0 Herta has tons of Flexibility and im glad they leatned their lesson
Considering I'm only play DOTs in one side and Acheron in the other, I think The Herta might be a right choice since DOT playstyle is getting neglected so much, in the 3.X I think might be the exception but, for priority, The Herta is going home I also have Sunday but until a better amplifier comes, I refuse to pull for Aglaea cause I don't want 2 Lightning DPS x"d
Also side note: two lightning DPS doesn't really matter as much as you think simply because agleae plays and is built differently then Acheron, the teams don't conflict
@NiaTheMilkTank in my case, I think it conflict; Acheron is, by far, more powerful with Sunday in comparison Black Swan E1 AND Jiaoqiu E0S0 (my case, remember). That 100/300 crit in battle is a monstruous upgrade to my team and I don't really wanna give Sunday to another DPS, cause my Acheron (with 80 CR) used to MISS CRIT A LOT LIKE, WTF- I don't want to come back to these days...
And the worst part about all of this? For me at least I want all of them. But as a mild F2P (in HSR at least), I do look forward to getting a lot of the 5-Stars featured in this version (THerta, Lingsha, Jade & Robin), and it will hurt me and my wallet to see that I may have to skip some of the 5-Stars I want if the Stellar Jades aren't enough or time-gated.
Currently my only team is a mid acheron carry team with acheron, pela, sampo, and aventurine. I dont have ahcerons lc or jq. I have no other carries or decent 5 stars and need another carry team badly to clear multi team content (basically the entire end game). I am planning to pull for the herta and lingsha (i dont have gallagher).
It fully depends on what teams you use, but Huohuo is the more general option, or you could just wait to see if a new sustain shows up in the next few patches. Gallagher/lynx can tide you over until then if they’re properly built

Huohuo is pretty good on her ult but I'm ngl if you run multiple memosprite characters in your team her heals are going to be terrible Lingsha imo is still the better choice here tbh

Fugue is pretty crazy for your himeko team and she will likely last longer in the meta than Herta. The colorless break along with the exo toughness is crazy good. I have her at E2 and she lets me use Lingsha as a DPS
I was hesitant to get THErta bc I want to try and get E1 Robin (and then save for Phainon) but I didn't know Moze was in the banner and I really really like Moze, so THErta it is!
You are COOKED lmao. For the future of your account, I’d probably go for Robin but if you want to clear now, I’d go for Feixiao. Her team is pretty easy to build. While you are missing robin, Sunday works pretty good with her too. March is free as well and is arguably the best sub-DPS in her teams. I’d personally go for Robin though. I got lucky getting her E1 on her last banner and she is SUPER good.
@@zacksoclean Ahhh I see. In that case, you’re fine! You probably have a lot of pulls waiting from all the missions. Defo get robin and maybe look into getting some of the future DPS like Castorice or even Aglea since you have Sunday. Robin can advance summons too so she’s their best support other than Sunday. (Robin is pretty much the best support in like 70% of the teams and has the strongest E1 in the game)
I really want The Herta and Robin in 3.0 that’s for sure, but I’m still debating if I should pull for Jade… really like her design and character overall but I don’t want to be broke for 3.1 because I might pull for Tribbie. Someone help should I pull for Jade or not 😭I have 120 pulls as of right now and I can whale a little
Herta does perfectly fine without trib or jade so metawise she isn't too greedy, she may start struggling early than if you had trib, but it won't make that much of a difference. Go with your hearts desire go jade
As an accidental jade haver (I misclicked which banner I did my single pull on) I can say she is definitely a lot more niche than most limited 5 stars but if you really want her then I would say go for her if you think you could also get Robin without going too deep in whale money
Awesome video. As someone who firmly stepped into the Jiaoqiu-Acheron trap, I'm happy that The Herta will work with simpler options. Feixiao is nagging me though. Her playstyle just looks like so much fun and I absolutely love her character design... Finally, there is the (overpowered) elephant in the room, called Robin. She is the exact opposite to Feixiao for me. I don't like her design, she doesn't really add to the fun factor for me BUT she would be objectively the best option for my account. This game would be so much better without all these restrictive gacha decisions. *sigh*
she is good for clearing the last stage of MoC or Apoc Shadow. E0 S1 Feixiao helped me get a perfect on those twice. I suggest getting her if you need a reliable dps - of course, you need to give her the proper support.
I'm missing Feixiao and the 3 rerun lightcones. My priority right now is : Feixiao > The Herta > Feixiao's lightcone > The Herta's lightcone > Lingsha's lightcone > Jade's lightcone. I'm wanting for stronger Wind and Ice DPS units so I can upgrade from Blade and Jingliu. I already have a fully built Follow Up team but Feixiao would be a welcome improvement over Dr Ratio. For The Herta, she sounds like she is gonna be a new top tier so I'm gonna try to get her too, maybe not her lightcone if I'm unlucky since I already have good alternative Erudition lightcones. My Lingsha and Jade work just fine whithout their signatures for now so I'm probably gonna skip them, unlike the other two options. Hope I manage to come out with Feixiao and The Herta at least.

Pull for lighsha believe me she's insane ghallagar is shjt compared to her. Plus she benefits from remembrance and follow up AND break plus she heals cleanse and her kits are all aoe
So should i go for Therta, Aglaea, or just skip 3.0 if i don't have Sunday, Jade, and Lingsha? I have Huohuo and Robin but she's needed in Feixiao's team. And if i pull for one of them, should i pull for LC or E1? considering i'll probably only have 35 pulls at the end of the patch 2.7
If you need a second sustain, you should get lingsha before anything else. Even if you don't, you could get lingsha for feixiao and free up huohuo for another team if you wish. Otherwise you should be safe skipping lingsha. between big Herta and aglaea, Herta seems more f2p friendly, you should get her if you need an erudition carry. I've heard that E1 is a bigger damage increase for Herta than S1 but you don't need either
Guys, I genuinely need help/insight, I just came back like past week after stop playing the game during the initial SW banner in 1.x and missed a lot. I got FF for my general dps for now and dont really plan any archetype at all. I got her mainly due to weakness implant which means I can just build her as my main carry for main story content etc that requires specific element but with her, I can just brute force with fire weakness implant. As for my team, Im using Gepard, Gallagher, HMC and FF. Dont have 2nd team as my main team isnt even at decent spot like traces main stat etc. Im saving for Mydei, Phainon, Aventurine and Fate collab and planning to skip everyone else in 3.x. Im sitting at 98 tickets and can get more if I do other past events etc cuz main story quests are the only thing that I completed for now. Im more tempted to get another dps potentially for my 2nd team but doesnt really have any concrete archetype in mind. As I have FF maybe Im just going to focus on break team for my 1st team but I wont really pull for premium support for break yet as I can just use 4* for now and might substitute Gepard with Asta when my Gallagher are built well enough. I believe FX and BH are both for break team which is save for me to skip right? Which leave me with Mydei in 3.1. As for Mydei, is it fine to pull for him if he doesnt have built in "ignore toughness weakness" or "weakness implement". He is imaginary unit, so does that mean he will only deal good dmg with imaginary opp only? For those who run two team archetype, other than break which usually comes with weakness implement etc, do you guys bring specific element dps to face specific element enemies? Does that mean I have to built at least 1 fps for each corresponding element?
Firefly has her weakness implant because she's a Break DPS and would be basically non-functional without it (since she needs to break to do damage--I'm sure you've noticed she does peanuts against enemies that aren't broken yet), this doesn't mean that other DPS without weakness implant are bad. If you want to continue using your FF break team for a long time I would strongly advise that you keep some tickets around to pull Ruan Mei when she eventually gets a third rerun, she is leagues beyond literally any other support you could slot into a FF team and improves her performance immensely. Unless you only pulled FF to be a temporary DPS while you wait for the characters you want to run. An alternative is just to pull for Fugue, Gallagher-Fugue-HMC-FF teams are pretty strong too. Weakness implant doesn't make or break a DPS, it's pretty much only necessary for Break DPS (and that's why they're the only ones with it in their kit.) No purely crit scaling dps in this game has a weakness implant or weakness type ignore. Like, The Herta is shaping up to be the new Acheron and she doesn't have weakness implant. In fact lots of demos of Herta's beta versions show her doing great against non Ice weak enemies with tons of Ice RES. For any limited DPS released post 2.0, weakness doesn't matter that much at all. You basically only need to weakness-match with weaker DPSes from the standard banner or earlier patches who really want the extra damage. Though in the case of the few enemies with 60% elemental RES to a certain element (like Cocolia with Ice, or the ebon deer with Lightning/Wind) then even limited DPS's damage will dip slightly against them. But you can make it work anyway cause newer DPS are just that good and there are supports/eidolons that provide RES pen. Tldr you don't need characters to have weakness implant, or build a DPS for each weakness element--just get whatever DPS you want. Elemental coverage has ceased to matter as much in the newer meta. (RIP silver wolf lol) Mydei, Phainon, and the Fate characters are definitely going to be meta at the time of their release, as all new characters are, and Aventurine will prolly continue to be a top tier sustain for ages because he has great support utility and survivability. If you want Mydei I would pull for him 100% he's probably going to be super strong.
The most important thing is to pull who you like. You don't really need weakness implant to be a good dps, although it helps. Before worrying about what characters to pull focus on the characters you do have. Good 4 stars to level are Gallagher, March 7th Hunt version, Tingyun, Herta, Moze and Pela. If you want to keep using Firefly it might be a good idea to pull for Fugue since the Remembrance MC might be better than HMC. Robin is one of the best supports in the game, so consider pulling on that banner. If you think you'll be fine without pulling just save for Mydei unless one of the characters on rate up turns out to be a good teammate for him. Once again, the most important thing is to prioritze fun over meta. If you don't like a character, just don't pull for them.
@aria29315 Thanks a lot for elaborating everything to help me decide and view the current state of dps better, been away for a long time so I use Seels and Jing Yuan( they are the only limited dps on my account) other than FF rn as power scaling or references and seems to think that implant weakness/toughness reduction is so flexible and a must for dps. I will be pulling for Myedei for sure then because of the aesthetics alone, Aventurine is also a must for my acc due to the lack of modern sustain and it seems pure healing aint offering enough anymore like early 1.x. I will just use FF to brute force past events etc for now to accumulate stellar jades. Might get Phainon if his kit is interesting as Im more interested in male characters to build a team around and dont really care about meta as much. Fate collab units are a must at least a copy of units and LCs. I will be picky with pulling other than Mydei and Aventurine for now due to I want to guaranteed pity in case worst case scenario happened and I lost 50/50. It seems Aventurine just got his rerun before Sunday I believe which I came back after Sunday's banner ended, so he might not return anytime soon. So my priority seems to gravitate towards Mydei for now, Phainon(not entirely sure yet), Aventurine if he will get rerun in 3.x and everything will go towards collab
@morp9426 Yeah I think it will be more enjoyable that way due to the game is single player and doesnt have pvp mode at that. I will 100% pull for Mydei and it seems Im just going to utilize 4* support for the time being until I really decide what kind of archetype I like to play. Gonna skip everyone in 3.x other than Mydei and maybe Phainon(not 100% sure yet) even though they are game breaking cuz Im interested in male characters as the male chars ratio in gacha game is lower compared to female. The only rerun Im looking forward is Aventurine which I dont think going to happen anytime soon as I believed he just got his rerun before Sunday banner or so. I came back during Fugue and FF banners so I just grab FF cuz my cureent dps roster kinda outdated tho I dont particularly aiming for her but doesnt dislike her either as dps.
if you can have Feixao with Robin, you now stand a good chance of also fully clear MOC and Apoc Shadow (or at least clear one side of it in decent time). Even E0 Feixiao is enough, but I do suggest getting her light cone.
@boiledliddo yeah been waiting for jiaoqui and ruan mei to unlock bh and acherons full potential, while I can clear with bh fine it's really just easier with rm especially in no sustain runs that surpasses what htb can do, and for jiaoqui well my welt sucks on my acheron team and I don't have either bs or khafka that's why at the moment I switched him with sparkle which surprisingly did more that what acherons talent would give with 2 nihility teammates (e0s0 acheron btw) which is why for now I wanna get feixiao to clear those wind electric stages altho herta would also be strong I already unfortunately have jingliu which isn't strong but in some situations good enough. As for lightcones I might not get it cuz do still wanna save up for new characters and reruns I want 3.1 onwards.
Another reason I don't really wanna get herta is because I already have argenti which is already buffed by how the new pf set up is and the other side is just himeko small herta if not acheron. And feixiao could even work there right? I don't really wanna get a premium support like tribbie for herta cuz that's what I've been seeing around as where for feixiao I already have her bis robin
@@Calcfr08 I perfect cleared Apoc Shadow and MOC (Current and previous) with E0 S1 Feixiao team on one side, and E1 S1 Rappa on the other. Sunday boss and the Blaznana robot are both naturally weak to Rappa, so one side is easy clear... fortunate that I had Feixao to clear the other side.
I cant decide if I should try and get Fugue for my E0 Firefly or just keep using her old team with Ruan Mei, HMC and Gallagher, I keep seeing people say you need her to replace HMC but then people say Firefly needs HMC or she wont do enough damage. Then there are also people saying sustainless with all 3 supports is her new best team, so im a little lost 😅 Then theres The Herta and people saying Jade is her best teammate and then others saying shes bait for The Herta and that serval or 4 star herta is better, not to mention Tribbe and her leaks saying shes The Herta's new support over Robin So confusing, I just want to know what Firefly and The herta's best team is 💀
If you plan on using Remembrance trailblzer, Id say fugue is a decent pickup, but otherwise you’re fine, its not a “NEED to replace” situation. Firefly has a very cheap team with herself, Ruan Mei, HMC and gallagher, there are options to upgrade this core but if you can clear comfortably then they arent too important. I wouldnt call Jade bait, but i also wouldnt say shes worth going for, its a weird middle ground. The Herta’s cheap team is as good as firefly’s, so dont worry too much about going all out on her teammates
@@Iwasbag Okay thanks, for right now my trailblazer is staying on harmony as firefly is my main carry, but i'm definitely not able to full star any of the endgame modes. My acheron team for side 2 doesnt have JQ and my dot team is just useless 😭 I'm hoping the herta helps, if her cheap team is good enough to clear end game that'd be nice, and if Jade needs to make Lingsha (who I also dont have) the debt collector for that team to shine I think just using 4 star herta with robin and huohuo would be better
imo, FF's best team is still RM, HMC and Galag/Lingsha For break team's sustain, there isn't really much of a difference besides slightly more comfortable gameplay with Lingsha since she has emergency heals when enemies constantly hit ur team while Gallagher is alot more SP positive and reduces enemy dmg from enhanced basic Also, sure u can go for FF, RM, HMC & Fugue without any sustains but that's just overkill if u want to clear content... Meanwhile, THerta best premium team from what I've seen is THerta, Jade, RMC/other harmony units, Lingsha. For best F2P team, it's THerta, Serval/smol Herta, RMC/other harmony unit, sustain unit. If you're f2p, u don't need Jade if u already have Serval. Jade is only better at getting stacks for THerta if u have Lingsha as her debt collector thingy to spam Jade's FUA to get THerta stacks whenever the team's hp is low and Lingsha uses her skill/FUA to heal. And while smol Herta is only good for PF because there's alot of enemies spawned in, u can spam her FUA talent on enemies for THerta to get lots of stacks In other modes where there's likely less enemies, Serval is the better option than Herta to build THerta's stacks all & all - The main break team is already good by itself unless you want HMC to be on other teams (like the upcoming summon meta) then go for Fugue as a replacement for HMC. - Jade is only a minor improvement from u using Serval/smol Herta side note: Idk about Tribbie's kit and u should definitely wait for official announcements/final version of her kit before anything else

I don't really agree with that Lingsha take when she herself has been proven to be a better version of Gallagher, to the point people are using her as a main DPS in both break and Crit builds. She is so versatile that I wouldn't even compare here to a 4 star. Yeah Gallahger is strong but not near to what Lingsha does in comfort, kit and overall utility in keeping your whole team alive while providing her own personal dmg to the table.
Lingsha a marginal upgrade to gallagher? lmao. She is the best healer in the game, no competition and the sustain with the most damage as well. Talk about underselling.

It's unfortunate that you said The Herta doesn't suffer the Jiaoqiu syndrome before Tribbie kit crumbles come out. I'd argue that in the future using Tribbie with her will be more necesary, just like acheron all 4 stars teammates worked and now kinda doesn't.
I can see what you mean, but what i was aiming at was that how much tribbie affects her later doesnt affect her value in 3.0’s context. Tribbie could not exist and THerta would still be good, I am doubtful that THerta in the future will feel like a jiaoqiu-less acheron, although in the end its mostly just baseless future speculation on how bad powercreep will get from here
Don't think she will suffer from thr same issue cause herta can still make use of other harmony and rememberance supports. The Jiaoqiu issue is solely because he is the only AOE limited debuffer, and acheron can't use harmony at E0

@NiaTheMilkTank in my case, I think it conflict; Acheron is, by far, more powerful with Sunday in comparison Black Swan E1 AND Jiaoqiu E0S0 (my case, remember). That 100/300 crit in battle is a monstruous upgrade to my team and I don't really wanna give Sunday to another DPS, cause my Acheron (with 80 CR) used to MISS CRIT A LOT LIKE, WTF- I don't want to come back to these days...

But as a mild F2P (in HSR at least), I do look forward to getting a lot of the 5-Stars featured in this version (THerta, Lingsha, Jade & Robin), and it will hurt me and my wallet to see that I may have to skip some of the 5-Stars I want if the Stellar Jades aren't enough or time-gated.
Currently my only team is a mid acheron carry team with acheron, pela, sampo, and aventurine. I dont have ahcerons lc or jq. I have no other carries or decent 5 stars and need another carry team badly to clear multi team content (basically the entire end game). I am planning to pull for the herta and lingsha (i dont have gallagher).
Question if my only good substain is adventurine but I need another premium substainer should I go for lingsha or for Huo huo if she reruns?
It fully depends on what teams you use, but Huohuo is the more general option, or you could just wait to see if a new sustain shows up in the next few patches. Gallagher/lynx can tide you over until then if they’re properly built

Fugue is pretty crazy for your himeko team and she will likely last longer in the meta than Herta. The colorless break along with the exo toughness is crazy good. I have her at E2 and she lets me use Lingsha as a DPS

You are COOKED lmao. For the future of your account, I’d probably go for Robin but if you want to clear now, I’d go for Feixiao. Her team is pretty easy to build. While you are missing robin, Sunday works pretty good with her too. March is free as well and is arguably the best sub-DPS in her teams. I’d personally go for Robin though. I got lucky getting her E1 on her last banner and she is SUPER good.

@@zacksoclean Ahhh I see. In that case, you’re fine! You probably have a lot of pulls waiting from all the missions. Defo get robin and maybe look into getting some of the future DPS like Castorice or even Aglea since you have Sunday. Robin can advance summons too so she’s their best support other than Sunday. (Robin is pretty much the best support in like 70% of the teams and has the strongest E1 in the game)

Herta does perfectly fine without trib or jade so metawise she isn't too greedy, she may start struggling early than if you had trib, but it won't make that much of a difference. Go with your hearts desire go jade
As an accidental jade haver (I misclicked which banner I did my single pull on) I can say she is definitely a lot more niche than most limited 5 stars but if you really want her then I would say go for her if you think you could also get Robin without going too deep in whale money

Awesome video. As someone who firmly stepped into the Jiaoqiu-Acheron trap, I'm happy that The Herta will work with simpler options.
Feixiao is nagging me though. Her playstyle just looks like so much fun and I absolutely love her character design...
Finally, there is the (overpowered) elephant in the room, called Robin. She is the exact opposite to Feixiao for me. I don't like her design, she doesn't really add to the fun factor for me BUT she would be objectively the best option for my account.
This game would be so much better without all these restrictive gacha decisions. *sigh*
she is good for clearing the last stage of MoC or Apoc Shadow. E0 S1 Feixiao helped me get a perfect on those twice. I suggest getting her if you need a reliable dps - of course, you need to give her the proper support.
I'm missing Feixiao and the 3 rerun lightcones.
My priority right now is :
Feixiao > The Herta > Feixiao's lightcone > The Herta's lightcone > Lingsha's lightcone > Jade's lightcone.
I'm wanting for stronger Wind and Ice DPS units so I can upgrade from Blade and Jingliu.
I already have a fully built Follow Up team but Feixiao would be a welcome improvement over Dr Ratio.
For The Herta, she sounds like she is gonna be a new top tier so I'm gonna try to get her too, maybe not her lightcone if I'm unlucky since I already have good alternative Erudition lightcones.
My Lingsha and Jade work just fine whithout their signatures for now so I'm probably gonna skip them, unlike the other two options.

If you need a second sustain, you should get lingsha before anything else. Even if you don't, you could get lingsha for feixiao and free up huohuo for another team if you wish. Otherwise you should be safe skipping lingsha. between big Herta and aglaea, Herta seems more f2p friendly, you should get her if you need an erudition carry. I've heard that E1 is a bigger damage increase for Herta than S1 but you don't need either

Guys, I genuinely need help/insight, I just came back like past week after stop playing the game during the initial SW banner in 1.x and missed a lot. I got FF for my general dps for now and dont really plan any archetype at all. I got her mainly due to weakness implant which means I can just build her as my main carry for main story content etc that requires specific element but with her, I can just brute force with fire weakness implant. As for my team, Im using Gepard, Gallagher, HMC and FF. Dont have 2nd team as my main team isnt even at decent spot like traces main stat etc.
Im saving for Mydei, Phainon, Aventurine and Fate collab and planning to skip everyone else in 3.x. Im sitting at 98 tickets and can get more if I do other past events etc cuz main story quests are the only thing that I completed for now. Im more tempted to get another dps potentially for my 2nd team but doesnt really have any concrete archetype in mind. As I have FF maybe Im just going to focus on break team for my 1st team but I wont really pull for premium support for break yet as I can just use 4* for now and might substitute Gepard with Asta when my Gallagher are built well enough. I believe FX and BH are both for break team which is save for me to skip right? Which leave me with Mydei in 3.1.
As for Mydei, is it fine to pull for him if he doesnt have built in "ignore toughness weakness" or "weakness implement". He is imaginary unit, so does that mean he will only deal good dmg with imaginary opp only? For those who run two team archetype, other than break which usually comes with weakness implement etc, do you guys bring specific element dps to face specific element enemies? Does that mean I have to built at least 1 fps for each corresponding element?
Firefly has her weakness implant because she's a Break DPS and would be basically non-functional without it (since she needs to break to do damage--I'm sure you've noticed she does peanuts against enemies that aren't broken yet), this doesn't mean that other DPS without weakness implant are bad.
If you want to continue using your FF break team for a long time I would strongly advise that you keep some tickets around to pull Ruan Mei when she eventually gets a third rerun, she is leagues beyond literally any other support you could slot into a FF team and improves her performance immensely. Unless you only pulled FF to be a temporary DPS while you wait for the characters you want to run. An alternative is just to pull for Fugue, Gallagher-Fugue-HMC-FF teams are pretty strong too.
Weakness implant doesn't make or break a DPS, it's pretty much only necessary for Break DPS (and that's why they're the only ones with it in their kit.) No purely crit scaling dps in this game has a weakness implant or weakness type ignore. Like, The Herta is shaping up to be the new Acheron and she doesn't have weakness implant. In fact lots of demos of Herta's beta versions show her doing great against non Ice weak enemies with tons of Ice RES. For any limited DPS released post 2.0, weakness doesn't matter that much at all. You basically only need to weakness-match with weaker DPSes from the standard banner or earlier patches who really want the extra damage. Though in the case of the few enemies with 60% elemental RES to a certain element (like Cocolia with Ice, or the ebon deer with Lightning/Wind) then even limited DPS's damage will dip slightly against them. But you can make it work anyway cause newer DPS are just that good and there are supports/eidolons that provide RES pen.
Tldr you don't need characters to have weakness implant, or build a DPS for each weakness element--just get whatever DPS you want. Elemental coverage has ceased to matter as much in the newer meta. (RIP silver wolf lol)
Mydei, Phainon, and the Fate characters are definitely going to be meta at the time of their release, as all new characters are, and Aventurine will prolly continue to be a top tier sustain for ages because he has great support utility and survivability. If you want Mydei I would pull for him 100% he's probably going to be super strong.
The most important thing is to pull who you like. You don't really need weakness implant to be a good dps, although it helps. Before worrying about what characters to pull focus on the characters you do have. Good 4 stars to level are Gallagher, March 7th Hunt version, Tingyun, Herta, Moze and Pela. If you want to keep using Firefly it might be a good idea to pull for Fugue since the Remembrance MC might be better than HMC. Robin is one of the best supports in the game, so consider pulling on that banner. If you think you'll be fine without pulling just save for Mydei unless one of the characters on rate up turns out to be a good teammate for him. Once again, the most important thing is to prioritze fun over meta. If you don't like a character, just don't pull for them.
@aria29315 Thanks a lot for elaborating everything to help me decide and view the current state of dps better, been away for a long time so I use Seels and Jing Yuan( they are the only limited dps on my account) other than FF rn as power scaling or references and seems to think that implant weakness/toughness reduction is so flexible and a must for dps.
I will be pulling for Myedei for sure then because of the aesthetics alone, Aventurine is also a must for my acc due to the lack of modern sustain and it seems pure healing aint offering enough anymore like early 1.x.
I will just use FF to brute force past events etc for now to accumulate stellar jades. Might get Phainon if his kit is interesting as Im more interested in male characters to build a team around and dont really care about meta as much. Fate collab units are a must at least a copy of units and LCs. I will be picky with pulling other than Mydei and Aventurine for now due to I want to guaranteed pity in case worst case scenario happened and I lost 50/50. It seems Aventurine just got his rerun before Sunday I believe which I came back after Sunday's banner ended, so he might not return anytime soon. So my priority seems to gravitate towards Mydei for now, Phainon(not entirely sure yet), Aventurine if he will get rerun in 3.x and everything will go towards collab
@morp9426 Yeah I think it will be more enjoyable that way due to the game is single player and doesnt have pvp mode at that. I will 100% pull for Mydei and it seems Im just going to utilize 4* support for the time being until I really decide what kind of archetype I like to play. Gonna skip everyone in 3.x other than Mydei and maybe Phainon(not 100% sure yet) even though they are game breaking cuz Im interested in male characters as the male chars ratio in gacha game is lower compared to female.
The only rerun Im looking forward is Aventurine which I dont think going to happen anytime soon as I believed he just got his rerun before Sunday banner or so. I came back during Fugue and FF banners so I just grab FF cuz my cureent dps roster kinda outdated tho I dont particularly aiming for her but doesnt dislike her either as dps.

if you can have Feixao with Robin, you now stand a good chance of also fully clear MOC and Apoc Shadow (or at least clear one side of it in decent time). Even E0 Feixiao is enough, but I do suggest getting her light cone.
@boiledliddo yeah been waiting for jiaoqui and ruan mei to unlock bh and acherons full potential, while I can clear with bh fine it's really just easier with rm especially in no sustain runs that surpasses what htb can do, and for jiaoqui well my welt sucks on my acheron team and I don't have either bs or khafka that's why at the moment I switched him with sparkle which surprisingly did more that what acherons talent would give with 2 nihility teammates (e0s0 acheron btw) which is why for now I wanna get feixiao to clear those wind electric stages altho herta would also be strong I already unfortunately have jingliu which isn't strong but in some situations good enough. As for lightcones I might not get it cuz do still wanna save up for new characters and reruns I want 3.1 onwards.
Another reason I don't really wanna get herta is because I already have argenti which is already buffed by how the new pf set up is and the other side is just himeko small herta if not acheron. And feixiao could even work there right? I don't really wanna get a premium support like tribbie for herta cuz that's what I've been seeing around as where for feixiao I already have her bis robin

@@Calcfr08 I perfect cleared Apoc Shadow and MOC (Current and previous) with E0 S1 Feixiao team on one side, and E1 S1 Rappa on the other. Sunday boss and the Blaznana robot are both naturally weak to Rappa, so one side is easy clear... fortunate that I had Feixao to clear the other side.
I cant decide if I should try and get Fugue for my E0 Firefly or just keep using her old team with Ruan Mei, HMC and Gallagher, I keep seeing people say you need her to replace HMC but then people say Firefly needs HMC or she wont do enough damage. Then there are also people saying sustainless with all 3 supports is her new best team, so im a little lost 😅
Then theres The Herta and people saying Jade is her best teammate and then others saying shes bait for The Herta and that serval or 4 star herta is better, not to mention Tribbe and her leaks saying shes The Herta's new support over Robin

If you plan on using Remembrance trailblzer, Id say fugue is a decent pickup, but otherwise you’re fine, its not a “NEED to replace” situation. Firefly has a very cheap team with herself, Ruan Mei, HMC and gallagher, there are options to upgrade this core but if you can clear comfortably then they arent too important.
I wouldnt call Jade bait, but i also wouldnt say shes worth going for, its a weird middle ground. The Herta’s cheap team is as good as firefly’s, so dont worry too much about going all out on her teammates

I'm hoping the herta helps, if her cheap team is good enough to clear end game that'd be nice, and if Jade needs to make Lingsha (who I also dont have) the debt collector for that team to shine I think just using 4 star herta with robin and huohuo would be better

For break team's sustain, there isn't really much of a difference besides slightly more comfortable gameplay with Lingsha since she has emergency heals when enemies constantly hit ur team while Gallagher is alot more SP positive and reduces enemy dmg from enhanced basic
Also, sure u can go for FF, RM, HMC & Fugue without any sustains but that's just overkill if u want to clear content...
Meanwhile, THerta best premium team from what I've seen is THerta, Jade, RMC/other harmony units, Lingsha. For best F2P team, it's THerta, Serval/smol Herta, RMC/other harmony unit, sustain unit. If you're f2p, u don't need Jade if u already have Serval. Jade is only better at getting stacks for THerta if u have Lingsha as her debt collector thingy to spam Jade's FUA to get THerta stacks whenever the team's hp is low and Lingsha uses her skill/FUA to heal.
And while smol Herta is only good for PF because there's alot of enemies spawned in, u can spam her FUA talent on enemies for THerta to get lots of stacks
In other modes where there's likely less enemies, Serval is the better option than Herta to build THerta's stacks
all & all
- The main break team is already good by itself unless you want HMC to be on other teams (like the upcoming summon meta) then go for Fugue as a replacement for HMC.
- Jade is only a minor improvement from u using Serval/smol Herta
side note: Idk about Tribbie's kit and u should definitely wait for official announcements/final version of her kit before anything else

I don't really agree with that Lingsha take when she herself has been proven to be a better version of Gallagher, to the point people are using her as a main DPS in both break and Crit builds. She is so versatile that I wouldn't even compare here to a 4 star. Yeah Gallahger is strong but not near to what Lingsha does in comfort, kit and overall utility in keeping your whole team alive while providing her own personal dmg to the table.
Lingsha a marginal upgrade to gallagher? lmao. She is the best healer in the game, no competition and the sustain with the most damage as well. Talk about underselling.
