Helloween is a gift from God !! Advanced Tip: When listening to the songs "The Dark Ride", "Wake Up the Mountain" and "Far in the Future", in the fiercest part of the song, try to do air guitar and headbang in the same rhythm of the drums (synchronized). It's necessary to use a hi-fi mini-system with decent woofers, and place yourself near the speakers. If done correctly, the effect is totally HALLUCINATING !!!! It's the highest frenzy you can get in life ! The secret is: speed metal drums + speed metal bass + fast rhythm with palm mute on the guitars.
Thanks Dayle, that's very cool you got to chill out with them! I'm looking forward to seeing them when they come through her in September, but I don't imagine they'll let me chill with them. As long as they play "POWER" I will be happy!
Fucking awesome Graham, chilled out with Helloween in London in 2005 and then went to their gig, big big fan, so know this tune sooo well, you have it spot on :-)
The dark ride and rabbit don't come easy were my very first helloween albums I have ever owned. I also watched the halloween music video from a beavis and butthead music video commetary. That cartoon is what brought me to helloween in the first place! Nice guitar play!
Thank you! I'm not sure I remember what my first Helloween album was!? Probably Time of the Oath! My friend gave me a mix tape of Helloween for my birthday, and that's how I got into them.
@@gram440a beavis and butthead definitely brought me to helloween when I was a kid. I'm very thankful for that cartoon. They also brought me to big bands like pantera slayer Metallica megadeth Judas priest motorhead. You get the idea! 😅
I got my pre-ordered copy on Wednesday, I'm really enjoying it, there are some good tunes, even a beautiful ballad by Sascha Gerstner, "Hold Me in Your Arms", this should be played on the radio, I think it would be a hit!
What a GREAT show they put on!! Andi's voice was perfect, you'd never know he's been touring all year. I can die now, LOL!! I filmed most of it so Ill post it when I get home, I think I got some good stuff (fingers crossed). It was SO worth it to make the trip here.
Oh... have you made/joined a band? here in Korea, the new live album of Helloween, "United Alive in Madrid" is now on sale. Today I am listening your guiter performing and feeling how the old days were good and bad. Sadly there are no songs from the album "Rabbit don't come easy" in the new live album. I dont't know why they did but I feel enough to hear your guitar sound. Long live the Helloween! and I hope your good luck to your whole life in every time. I always give thanks to you.
I haven't played in a band in a long time, it's too expensive. My copy of United Alive was smashed when it arrived in the mail! I had to send it back, so I'm still waiting to hear it. When a band has been around for as long as Helloween it's hard to play all the songs people want to hear (although they would have more time if they didn't screw around so much between songs.) Good luck to you as well, and I give thanks to you for watching my videos, I'm glad you enjoy them.
awesome videos man what rig u using can i ask? and know if i can get a sound nearly as well as this one wusing a line6 floor POD and a kuston double barrel?
One thing: They did "Steel Tormentor", one of my all-time favorites and Andi hit all the high notes/screams at the end and had the biggest grin on his face, I think he surprised even himself.
dude should do if a mountain could talk, who is mister madman or are you metal? love those tracks from 7 sinners :D or summin frm straight back to hell :D (dunno if u do requests lol
I really like your clean play.....Where are you??? Please make Helloween cover again .. big G....If u want to go to Imdonesia especially Solo, call me brader.
Excellent! I'm glad you've had a good time, I'll check out your footage when you post some....please refrain from dying now!? I'll be seeing them on Monday, can't wait!
@DevilsBeggingToBurn Thanks very much! My rig is quite simple, I just use a Line 6 Pod XT with old software, direct into my recorder. The settings for this video are J800 amp, Treadplate cabinet, 57 mic, and a Tube Screamer set at 12 o'clock. I prefer the old Pod XT over anything that came after it! The newer stuff sounds completely different. I don't know what a kustom double barrel is! XD
@DevilsBeggingToBurn Yeah the Pod XT isn't expensive at all anymore, and they do tons of stuff. I use mine all the time, get some nice headphones too and you'll be in business. Or if you REALLY want to save up, get a JCM800 by Marshall, that's the real version of the model I use!
Thanks very much! Just transcribe it very carefully, and practice it a lot basically. In this video, I am NOT using an amplifier at all! I'm using a Line 6 Pod XT straight into the board.
I do requests, but only for large sums of money! Straight Out of Hell, I'm looking forward to it, and I'm sure the follow up WILL be called Straight Back To Hell! lol
I haven't put up the video yet, I want time to make sure I upload it right so I don't lose any of the quality. If you are on Twitter you can go to @Swamper60 to see some stills I pulled off the video.
one of my Helloween fav songs \m/ great cover , it sounds amazing and well played !
Thank you very much! It's one of my favorites as well.
