I have to learn to play that song correctly. I had a jasmine acoustic with Grover tuners which handled decently that i had since 1990 stolen out of my vehicle and some wonderful people gave me their acoustics when they heard of my loss, but for various reasons including bad tuners, failed customizations, age, and a hard life I havent been able to get decent tone or playability out of any except from the silvertone which was a free guitar with the purchase of 10 sets of strings. So aside from keeping my eyes peeled for a deal on any of the name brands, I been eyeballing the Gretsch Acoustics. Scott, you just played exactly what I would have wanted to hear demo... Who knows if I'll ever be able to finance the modest cost of such acoustic, but I can at least learn the right chord positions for that song. lol Thanks for the demo. Love your selections of what to play.

Good point, Journeyquest1. The lower bout is HUGE and does tend to have an affect on your strumming arm.

Thanks! I was just messing around there with Chicago's Beginnings, Tommy James Crimson and Clover and Allmans Melissa. In the video it is all acoustic. I'll do one at some point plugged in so you can hear it and I'll keep it way shorter.

I have the same guitar but with the mahogony body instead of maple. Only gripe i have is it is so big it will cut the circulation off to your strumming arm. Oh ya, very heavy to lug around in the TKL case i got for it. Well worth the money if you are looking for a JUMBO guitar.

nice playing. you use a lot of the same chord variations I do (damn near mirrored part/s of an original song of mine (or 2), within your chord changes - some variance, though). I imagine you are self-taught, as am I; it lends to a very organic style of playing - nicely done =0)
I've been considering this guitar but haven't played it through an amp yet; thanks for posting - nice rich tone; is your guitar amplified in this post, or strictly acoustic?
