Why not cut it befor it’s split?
Good point - firewood market here is different than in the US - we sell firewood here in meters (1 meter long pieces of split-firewood stacked 1 meter in hight and 1 meter in lenght - i don`t know how do you call it in the US - maybe ‘stere’.In Germany it`s called "raummeter").1 cubic meter of wood equals 1.4 meters ‘stere’.
People here buy firewood traditionally that way.
For me personally it`s better to cut it in 25-33 cm lenght and then split it, but it`s the case only in home-deliveries.
For further transport by trucks, which is more common in my case, this is the market demand.

Because i`m not in Texas, i`m just preparing firewood to be cut into 25 centimeters pieces.
Our firewood is first cut into pieces which are 1 meter in lenght for transport, than shortened to 25-33 centimeters, depending on "Castle`s fireplace` lenght 😁

Potpuno se slažem s Vama-puno ljudi tako radi.
Drva koja sam rezao na ovom snimku su bila naručena i hteo sam da to bude tačna količina.Takođe, drva koja su bila na zemlji su bila zaleđena i slepljena sa tlom, te sam morao da ih čistim kako ne bih istupeo lanac.
