What makes "Vinny"' one of the best? 1. track selection, the fact that he never done production or just a little if he has, makes him the best collector, his sets are unpredictable unlike some of the producers who play mostly their music. 2. he is true to the "ART of Turntable Mixing" direct clean mixing not messing with Effects and all that stuff. hes an artist not a performer 3. if you enjoy his 1-2 hour sets, wait till you hear him play for 3 or more hours, its like he takes some time to warm up and once he takes off you'll be left connected mind body and soul....

But point the effects point is kindy grey some use effects lets leave them as they are even when artists play their music its not a big deal but i feel u man uve summed it up nicely
